This is an I AM Yoga Nidrā [Amrit Institute lineage] inspired by personal transformation. Letting go of what no longer serves you by tapping into your inner wisdom. You will be guided through light physical activation, breath, and body awareness before moving into a more energetic and expansive state. In setting up for Yoga Nidrā, make yourself as comfortable as possible. So Hum breathing technique is done non-vocally (words said silently to yourself).

Transcript

As you begin setting up for yoga nidra,

You can start with your blanket over the body and have an eye pillow if you're using it just right by your side.

And make any last adjustments to become comfortable and supported.

Then close your eyes and quiet your mind.

Let go of all thoughts,

Worry,

And tension.

Give yourself fully to the experience of stillness.

Relax,

Trust,

And let go.

Now allow yourself to receive this statement.

Allow your whole body to absorb these words.

During this time,

I will participate wholeheartedly in this process and trust that whatever issues are in the way of connecting to my inner wisdom will be released spontaneously and effortlessly.

I let go of any struggle or effort to make anything happen.

Now bring your attention to both arms and both hands.

And as you breathe,

Make fists with the hands,

Squeezing them tight.

You might squeeze so tight that the arms begin to lift off the floor.

Squeeze and hold,

And then release the arms to the ground.

And let go into the flood of energy through the fingers,

Palms,

And arms.

Now shift attention to both legs and lift the right leg a few inches off the floor as you continue to breathe.

Hold,

Hold.

And now release the right leg to the floor.

And feel heaviness flooding the right leg.

Simply observe whatever feeling is present.

And as you breathe,

Lift the left leg off the floor a few inches,

Keeping it lifted as you hold and breathe.

Hold,

And now release the leg to the floor.

Let go of all effort.

And just feel whatever is present.

Now bring awareness to the face.

And scrunch the face,

Squeezing the eyes tight,

Scrunching the nose,

Pursing the lips together.

Scrunch the face,

Squeeze,

Squeeze.

And now release the effort in your face.

And with your next exhalation,

Allow all expression to drop from the face.

Releasing the tiny muscles around the eyes,

Allowing the eyeballs to rest back in their sockets.

Releasing the tiny muscles around the mouth.

Tongue resting in the mouth.

Lower jaw gently opening,

Softening.

Allowing the cheeks to soften towards the floor.

Feel the scalp resting on the skull,

The neck softening,

Easing.

And simply be available to the entire range of sensations in the face and head.

Now drop into a sense of your whole bodily presence.

Embrace this present moment's experience.

Undistorted by what you like or don't like.

Let go of what is going.

Let come that which is coming.

This becomes your connection to your higher self.

Maintaining this inner stillness,

If you need to make any other adjustments with your body,

Blankets or props.

You can place an eye pillow over your eyes.

And as we enter this next phase of yoga nidra,

Remain as motionless as possible.

If any spontaneous movements or sounds arise in the body,

Just let it come naturally.

If you become uncomfortable at any time,

Move,

Make an adjustment and return to stillness.

And resolve to remain awake,

Staying in touch with the sound of my voice.

Allow your entire body to respond to my words directly and non-mentally.

Allow any disturbances,

External or internal,

To draw you more deeply within.

As you enter the subconscious pranic field,

Let your mind merge and melt into the energy of the body.

Now shift from thinking and doing to feeling and being.

Do absolutely nothing from now on.

Simply relax and drop into the deepest state of tranquility,

Stillness and peace in the third eye.

Now your consciousness is in direct communion with your energy body.

From that very relaxed,

Unified state,

Follow my guidance as we begin,

So hum breath.

Now start breathing in through the nostrils and guide your breath and attention steadily from the third eye along the spine,

Ending at the base of the spine.

As you exhale,

Guide your breath and attention upwards along the length of the spine to the third eye.

And continue with this breath.

Inhale,

Third eye to base of spine.

Exhale,

Base of spine to third eye.

And stay focused and feel the energy follow your attention along the spine.

Now we will integrate our attention into the third eye.

Now we will integrate this breath with the non-vocal sound of so hum.

With each inhalation,

Feel the sound of so as the breath flows from the third eye to the base of the spine.

And with each exhalation,

Feel the sound of hum flowing up the base of the spine to the third eye.

Remain totally absorbed in the subtle vibration.

Feel sound and energy moving along the spine.

Sound,

Breath,

Sensation,

And attention in complete synchronicity.

Experience it.

Be totally engaged in the sacred presence of that I am.

Deeply engaged,

Totally absorbed,

And completely merge into oneness.

That I am.

That I am.

I am that.

Now breathe normally.

Bring your attention to rest in the third eye.

And bathe your whole body and being in the unified experience of so hum sound and breath.

Experience a deep stillness extending everywhere.

Feel your whole body lying still.

And enter an effortless state of being.

And follow my guidance as we move through different parts of the body.

Let your attention rest on each body part as I name it without comment or judgment.

All 10 toes.

Both ankles.

Both knees.

Pelvis.

Abdomen.

Chest.

Arms.

Hands.

Throat.

Face.

Back of the head.

Shoulder blades.

Spine.

Buttocks.

Calves.

Heels.

Soles of the feet.

And sense the whole body from the top of the head to the tips of the toes.

Whole body.

Whole body and awareness.

Feel the whole body contained in vast spacious awareness.

Now sense the space around the right side of the body.

Sense the space as it touches the skin boundary on the right side of the body.

And sense the space around the left side of the body.

Sense the space as it touches the skin boundary on the left side of the body.

And sense the space as it touches the entire skin boundary.

Experience the entirety of the body simultaneously and equally.

The entire body more energy than density.

Pulsing.

Tingling.

Whole body breathing in.

Whole body breathing out.

And sense the space around this body.

Every breath moving in this space.

Just the breath.

Just space.

You are both the space and the experience contained in it.

One whole cohesive experience.

Experience it.

Become it.

And freed from restrictions of mind,

Divine energy awakens.

From this moment on,

Allow yourself to shift from effort to grace.

This is a nourishment of divine energy.

Let the spirit force work for you.

Providing you with complete divine protection and guidance.

All powers beginning to manifest in your life.

Giving you a whole new level of vitality,

Strength,

And courage.

A new sense of freedom.

Fulfillment and joy filling your heart.

Bathe in a complete sense of relief now.

Now that you've arrived.

Lifetimes of karma dropping away at this moment.

You are unburdened and free.

Feeling completely at peace with yourself and the world that surrounds you.

Feeling very safe in this protection.

Your body is luminous,

Radiant.

Emanating light from every pore of your skin.

Manifesting through your eyes.

Know that you can return here again and again.

The channel is now open.

And feel that your whole body and every cell is vibrating at a whole new frequency.

Different from anything you've ever known before.

The energy field begins to extend beyond your body and spreads everywhere.

This is a new dimension.

The dimension of being,

Not doing.

Because when you arrive,

There is nothing to be done.

Give yourself the permission to enter into the deepest level of relaxation right now.

Nothing to do or achieve.

Dissolve and disappear into stillness.

Open.

Empty of all doing.

All past.

All future.

Merge into this space and be empty and free.

And here your intentions and affirmations are actualized and fulfilled with effortless ease.

If you have self-defeating patterns,

Habits,

Or limiting beliefs that are holding you back that you want to be freed from,

Make that your intention now.

Allow this intention to go to the deepest levels of recognition with no hesitation.

Know that your higher self recognizes,

Honors,

And accepts your intention.

Establish it at the altar of your heart.

And at this time,

Feel the presence of any guides,

Mentors,

Teachers,

Or family members you feel connected to.

You may sense this as a universal force or energy surrounding you,

Guiding you.

Know that this presence surrounds you always.

You can draw on this presence at any time.

And if there's any guidance to be received at this time,

Either as a felt sense,

Words,

Or images,

Allow yourself to receive it now.

Otherwise simply rest back in the grace and protection of presence.

Now begin to become aware of the rising and falling of the breath.

And begin to deepen your breathing.

Allow your breath to extend into your fingers and toes,

Exploring some movement as you stay with this inner experience.

And gradually you can move as if waking from a restful sleep.

You might stretch your arms overhead and legs long.

And if it feels okay,

Bending your knees or drawing them into your chest,

Then rock sideways gently.

And take your time.

No hurry.

Then slowly rolling on to your right side and curl into fetal position.

Feel the safety,

Comfort,

And protection of pure presence.

And keeping your eyes closed,

You can start to move and support yourself up to seated.

And regardless of what you consciously recognize that has or has not changed,

Know that something deep within has connected you to your inner wisdom.

Become aware of your body and bring a deep sense of peace and contentment with you as you bring attention back to the body.

Palms together at heart center,

Gently drawing your chin towards your chest in a bow of gratitude for yourself.

Congratulations for who you've been,

For where you are now,

And for the knowing that in presence you can step into who you want to become.

Glory to the spirit,

The spirit in us all that connects us all.

Thank you🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻At first, when I heard the fist clenching, I was ready to discard, yet something in me urged me to go on, and so I did it in my mind, rather than physically, and continued the relaxation guidance that way.
