And this meditation is done best lying down,

Whether it's on a bed or on the floor,

Because it involves a lot of surrendering.

We're surrendering all of the expectations society puts on us,

All of those shoulds,

All of those rules that keep us bound.

Because deep within us,

There is a wild woman that's aching to come alive.

That's aching to create.

That's aching to move through you powerfully,

But at first calls for surrendering of all of that false sense of who you should be in the eyes of others.

This is a call for who you're meant to be,

And that seed has been planted in you from the moment of birth.

So we're asked to enter this imaginal realm where we use some forces to help cultivate the wild woman within you.

So if your eyes aren't closed,

Be sure to close them and begin to breathe,

And make sure that they're belly breaths.

So you can place your hand just below your ribs,

The bottom of your ribs,

And make sure that the diaphragm is expanding on the inhale.

You can sigh out any of those thoughts that come in that say,

This is stupid,

Or I can't do this.

You can,

And you will.

Let the breath take you deeper in yourself into this imaginal realm where we cultivate the wild woman within you.

So as you're lying here,

Imagine yourself in this expansive desert,

And it's a moonlit night.

Imagine the cool breeze on your skin,

And the sky above you is this deep,

Endless,

Expansive,

Dark blue,

And you see the dots of shimmering stars.

The full moon hangs low,

Casting this silver light over this landscape.

It illuminates the craggy rocks and sparse vegetation,

And the silence is profound.

You only hear this whisper of the wind as it moves through the desert,

And you're just exhausted.

Your body is heavy,

And just allow yourself to rest as if you've been walking for days.

You can hardly move,

So just allow yourself to rest.

Feel your limbs relax into this desert.

It holds you safe.

You're collapsing into this cool sand.

You just allow that energy to hold you as you become one with the desert and sink deeper.

And as you begin to surrender yourself into the sand,

You sense a presence nearby,

A quiet rustling in the dark.

A figure emerges,

This tall,

Mysterious woman draped in flowing robes.

Her hair is wild and free.

You see her eyes,

And they glow with this ancient wisdom.

This is Laloba,

The wolf woman,

The keeper of the souls that ache to move wild and free.

She moves towards you with a graceful yet deliberate step,

And she begins to gather the parts of you that have been lost,

These pieces of your soul that you've hidden away,

The aspects of yourself that have been buried deep within.

With each piece she collects,

She carefully places it in a wooden basket by her side.

You feel a mix of fear and awe as she kneels beside you,

Her hands reaching out to gently touch your frail,

Exhausted body.

As she works around you,

You feel this deep stirring within you as though something ancient and powerful is being awakened.

This wolf woman hums softly this haunting melody that resonates deep in your chest,

Vibrating through your entire being.

It's a song of the wild,

A song of the earth.

You realize it's calling something primal within you,

Something you've forgotten,

But it's always been there.

As Laloba continues to work,

You feel this warmth spreading in your body,

A warmth that grows stronger and stronger until it feels like fire coursing through your veins.

This is the fire of life,

This wild energy that the wolf woman is infusing into you,

Breathing new life into your tired,

Broken form.

With each breath you take,

You feel yourself growing stronger,

Your body changing,

Transforming.

Your limbs grow longer,

Your muscles more powerful,

Your senses become sharper.

You're no longer that exhausted,

Dying creature that collapsed in the desert.

You're becoming something new,

Something wild and free.

As Laloba completes her transformation,

You realize that you are now a wolf,

A magnificent,

Powerful creature of the night,

Your fur gleaming in the moonlight,

Your heart beating strong and steady.

You roll up,

Stand up on all fours,

Feeling the strength in your legs,

The energy coursing through your body.

You feel alive,

More alive than you've ever been before.

You look around and see the wolf woman watching you,

And she's got a knowing smile on her lips,

And she nods to you as if to say,

Go,

It is time.

You take off running through the desert,

Your powerful legs propelling you forward with the speed and grace you never knew you possessed.

The wind rushes past you,

The earth flies beneath your paws.

The world around you blurs into a swirl of colors and light.

You run with the reckless abandon of a wild animal,

Feeling the freedom of the open desert,

The wild energy of the wolf woman coursing through your veins.

And eventually you find yourself at the top of a large hill that overlooks this vast canyon.

The view is breathtaking.

The canyon stretches out before you,

Bathed in the soft light of the moon.

You stop at the edge of the hill,

Your chest heaving,

Your breath coming in deep.

You feel a sense of peace,

Fulfillment,

As though you finally found what you're looking for.

You stand there proud for a moment,

And taking it all in,

The beauty of the desert,

The power of the moon,

The strength of your own body.

And then you lift your head to the sky and let out a long,

Deep howl,

And the sound echoes through the canyon,

Filling the night with a wild,

Haunting melody.

It is a song of freedom,

Of power,

Of purpose.

This howl is the song of your soul,

Finally free to express itself,

To fulfill its true purpose.

As the howl fades into the night,

You feel a sense of satisfaction,

Of completeness.

You have been reborn,

Transformed by the wolf woman's magic,

And now you're ready to face the world with a new sense of strength and purpose.

Take a moment to let this feeling sink in,

To absorb the energy of the wolf woman,

The power of the wild,

The freedom of your soul.

And when you're ready,

Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to your physical body,

Back to the room you're in.

Begin to wiggle your fingers and toes.

Take a deep breath.

Sigh it out.

And when you're ready,

You can open your eyes.

You're no longer the person you were when you began this journey.

You are stronger,

More powerful,

More alive.

You know your true purpose,

And now you're ready to live it,

To embrace this wild energy that has been awakened within you.

Carry this feeling with you as you go about your day,

Knowing that you are always connected to the wild,

To the wolf woman,

To the power within you.

Live free,

Wild girl.
