Welcome to another stress-fit meditation.
My name is Oscar and I will be your guide for this meditation.
Find a comfortable position for this practice.
Head,
Neck and shoulders should be in one straight line.
Try to maintain a nice straight back throughout the entire session.
Roll your shoulders back and feel your chest opening up.
Place your hands in a comfortable position,
Either on your knees,
Thighs or whatever makes you feel comfortable today.
You can have your palms facing up or down.
If you prefer,
Feel free to lay down for this practice today and place your palms on the ground facing upwards.
The intention for today's practice is to explore how you can cope better with financial stress in your daily life.
We all experience stress from time to time because of money.
It can feel as though we get stuck in the loop of working just to pay bills,
Continuously striving to earn enough income to satisfy our needs and ensure a safe future for ourselves and eventually our loved ones.
This stress often follows us in our daily lives and can take many forms but usually putting our bodies and minds in a state of fear and worry.
Taking us from the present moment and decreasing our quality of life.
Take yourself back to the last time you felt this kind of stress in your life.
These kinds of stressful moments often have a broad impact on our being,
Our body,
Our mood and our behaviour.
It might be fatigue or sleeping problems.
Maybe it's a lack of motivation,
Feeling overwhelmed,
Feeling anxious or restless.
All of which often have you feeling like you're no longer your happy self.
We have three choices in life,
To change our situation,
To leave the situation or to accept it for what it is.
So if you can't leave the situation,
You can either work towards changing it for the better and whilst you do this,
Accept it calmly because it is from the space of peace and calm mind that we can be creative and find solutions.
Some things are within our control while others are not.
The challenge is to adopt an honest understanding of what is actually within our control.
The only thing that we actually have possibility to control is our own mind.
Bring your attention back to your body and your breath.
That's now for the next few moments,
Focus only on your breath.
Just observe your breath and notice how it feels in the body.
Is it shallow or is it deep?
Do you feel your stomach expanding or is it your chest moving?
Follow my count for the next few breaths,
We will inhale for the count of four and exhale for the count of six.
Inhale 1,
2,
3,
4.
Exhale 1,
2,
3,
4,
5,
6.
Inhale 1,
2,
3,
4.
Exhale 1,
2,
3,
4,
5,
6.
Inhale 1,
2,
3,
4.
Exhale 1,
2,
3,
4,
5,
6.
Inhale 1,
2,
3,
4.
Exhale 1,
2,
3,

5,
6.
Inhale 1,
2,
3,
4.
Exhale 1,
2,
3,
4,
5,
6.
Now follow your own count for the next few moments.
Now let your breath go.
Let your natural harmonious breath take its rhythm.
Feel your body moving with your breath.
Just an easiness starting to settle in.
Now let's get rid of all the stressful energy that's built up in our bodies.
With each exhale,
Let your worries go.
Take a long deep breath in through the nose.
As you exhale fully through your mouth,
Imagine all your worries leaving your chest.
Take one more deep breath and fully exhale,
Letting all your worries go.
Realize that you are not your worries.
In any moment you can let them go.
Your power comes from the present moment.
Inhale and let go.
Inhale and let go.
Inhale and let go.
Inhale and let go.
Inhale and let go.
Inhale and let go.
Inhale and let go.
Inhale and let go.
Use these next minutes to connect and tap into the good feeling that you have in your body.
Gather beats to amplify this feeling.
Inhale and let go.
Inhale and let go.
Inhale and let go.
Inhale and let go.
Inhale and let go.
Inhale and let go.
Inhale and let go.
Inhale and let go.
Inhale and let go.
Inhale and let go.
Inhale and let go.
Inhale and let go.
Inhale and let go.
Inhale and let go.
Inhale and let go.
Inhale and let go.
Inhale and let go.
Inhale and let go.
Inhale and let go.
Now slowly come back to the moment.
Our intention for this meditation is to be relieved from financial stress,
Knowing that everything will be okay.
Understanding that when we are in a more relaxed and creative state,
We are better equipped to manage and handle our finances.
We may not have immediate control over the actual situation,
But we do have control over our reaction to it.
Whilst we work on our actual situation,
We can use these meditations and breathing techniques to help us stay focused on the now.
Stop letting the situation take control over us and remember that this is only temporary.
And now with each breath slowly come back into the moment.
Become aware of the space around you.
Wiggle your toes and fingers.
Carry this feeling with you throughout your day and remember to tune in to the now.
