This practice will guide you out of feeling stressed in just 5 minutes. Using your breath, breathe into a new direction to bring in lightness, focusing on feeling light once more and moving onto having some fun. This is a wonderful tonic for life.

Welcome to this short meditation,

A five minute stress release.

Let me guide you,

So please remain standing.

So simply focus on the word stop.

Bring one hand up to your forehead,

Touch the forehead and say stop.

Feel the word stop.

To stop thinking,

Stop moving,

Stay still.

Now bring the other hand to rest on the heart area and hold that breath right now with the word stop.

Keeping nice and still.

It's time to breathe in a new direction.

So turn yourself facing the other way and drop both hands to the waist.

Begin to breathe slowly and steady,

Slow and steady.

Now with the intention,

The next breath will be deep and full of fresh new light.

So think and feel light and breathe fully in with light.

Exhale blowing upwards,

Lifting the head up and blow out air that is light.

Close your eyes and imagine everything around you has disappeared into white light.

And the more you connect to this light air,

The more brighter you become.

Think the word light and breathe in light.

Exhale light air.

Feel the energy of light and its connection to white light.

Feel surrounded in white light that stems from love and kindness.

Connect to light and fun and a great desire to have some fun very soon.

Let yourself connect to simply having some personal fun very soon.

Tell yourself I shall connect with fun,

With lightness,

With things that are connected to love,

The energy,

The power of love,

Of light,

Of fun.

Often just having a break and connecting to personal fun.

Because the fun makes things better.

Setting that intention to have some fun.

At the count of 10,

You can open your eyes and go get some fun to keep you bright.

Keep you bright,

Full of love and light.

Counting now.

Open the eyes fully open.

I found this to be somewhat different but in a good way. I liked the idea of physically putting a hand on my forehead and saying stop. I have been struggling with racing thoughts. Thank you for offering this.
