If you have a hard time falling asleep or getting deep, rejuvenating rest, you must listen to this series. Getting a Good Night's Rest guided meditation series has seven parts, intended to be listened to on seven (preferably consecutive) days. It is derived from my research over the past 20 years on getting maximum rejuvenation and waking up feeling your very best. The practice includes tips from neuroscience, sleep hygiene, yoga techniques and ancient spiritual practices.

Welcome to day five of Sleeping Well.

Getting a good night's sleep and waking up feeling light requires to sleep on a light stomach.

So,

Try not to eat a big meal too late.

So,

My rule of thumb is 8 p.

M.

I know we all have our different times.

But if you have to eat late,

Make it a light meal.

Again,

For myself,

I take a little bowl and just enough so I don't go hungry.

It takes about two to three hours to digest your meal and you want to have your meal digested before you fall asleep.

In today's meditation commentary,

We will plant a seed for the next day.

I want you to visualize how you would like the next day to be.

Focus on something that you would like to see happen.

See that scene in your mind as if it is really happening.

Visualize it very clearly.

Such that as you focus,

You're giving it life.

See for it to manifest.

Like really,

Really gently.

Thank you.

And as you fall asleep,

The subconscious mind will process and provide everything that you need,

The wisdom,

The powers,

And the decision-making ability to be able to make that vision a reality tomorrow.

Let's check in again tomorrow.
