Arrive in this moment with the totality of your experience which would include sensations with thoughts maybe sounds input from the senses and the knowing that right now there is awareness,
The awareness of all of these things and the mind is one of the things that we are aware of during sleep all that we are aware of is the mind during deep sleep we are aware without having an object of experience to be aware of and then we wake up back into the collective dream and the mind is powerful enough to say look out,
Look into the world,
Look at the body but don't look at me and in this don't look at me it pretends to be you in that sense it projects itself onto the world and all that it wants is peace and happiness so it tries to find it by creating peace in the body by creating perfect circumstances in the world,
A perfect relationship,
A perfect job,
A perfect way to spend every day but even if that perfection is achieved on the level of the body or the world it is only temporary and then something happens to shift it so the mind seeks again it's like no no make it back as it was you were happy then or you will be happy in the future so the mind is constantly trying to manage life to make things better to improve the so-called self through personal development to improve the body through Qigong or yoga constantly seeking a more perfect or better state and of course that is the game of the ego it is always hiding itself and also always seeking always dissatisfied so non-duality comes to remind the mind that it is part of the whole the mind is also an object of awareness so the peace and happiness or the simplicity that the mind is looking for is actually its very source but since it itself the mind cannot find that source cannot be that source it is trying to replicate the peace and happiness that we effortlessly are by projecting it outwards you so at first we are recognizing this and becoming the observer of the mind and the body the spaciousness within which they appear but that is still not non-duality because there is the awareness and the objects of awareness so then we can come closer to the thoughts and the sensations and recognize that since they appear in infinite awareness they must be made of awareness so and this is pure simplicity here there is just awareness so no need to manage anything and then the mind becomes an expression of this simplicity when resting as awareness the thoughts that come are in line with what is true the ideas the desires that come are in line with what is true they are non-personal and expressing love expressing oneness expressing the whole so when we abide as love there is only one path there is no right or wrong there is just acting with the understanding of oneness so the rules that the mind has devised no longer apply so the behavior is not based on previous knowledge it is arising spontaneously now so so the mind will never get this but it will always try to always try to find patterns why did the body heal did this thought manifest this did that happen because of this but we cannot know it is all arising in awareness without causality without at the door The best that the mind can do is to accept that it doesn't know.
