Hi everybody and welcome to this live event on exploring intuition and dowsing from a non-dual perspective.

Welcome here.

The event as usual will start with a short meditation,

Then I will do a talk on this topic and then there will be space for questions and answers.

So maybe you already have some questions about this topic and if so you can already pop them in the chat and I'll make sure to reply later or otherwise you can just see what comes as the talk unfolds and I'm happy to continue the conversation with you.

This is the third event of a series.

There was one on non-dual awareness,

On natural movement and non-duality and now it's intuition and dowsing.

So this will be quite deep but yeah let's see if it resonates with you.

So as people are arriving let's just take a few deeper breaths,

Close our eyes and arrive back in this moment now as it has manifested itself.

Just witnessing experience as it is.

You can notice the breath,

You can notice the movements of sensations or feelings in the body,

You can notice the spaciousness,

The awareness within which everything arises and fades,

Whatever it is just know it as any experience,

Any objective experience as temporary.

It comes and it goes.

Attention goes in one way then returns back to source,

Then it goes another way,

Returns back to source.

And even as attention moves you can remain this presence,

This witness that just watches things move and unfold.

Now let's take a few more breaths and come back to our conversation.

If you prefer you can also remain in meditation,

Up to you.

So I wanted to talk a bit more about intuition to begin with.

And my own journey has been one in which I lived like many people with my parents until university and I started discovering or letting this intuitive inner knowing unfold as soon as I had more space to explore what I wanted to explore.

In my case there was a feeling of shyness that came as soon as I came here in the UK and I couldn't quite connect with other people.

I had lived in France and Belgium and Bulgaria so it's like I had these three personalities in Bulgarian,

French and English and I wanted to understand myself to kind of bring them together to know who I really am.

And I started exploring NLP,

Then meditation,

Movement-wise boxing,

Then Qigong and yoga,

Natural movement.

And throughout these explorations there was always this knowing,

Okay,

There is more,

There is more,

There is more.

So when I started NLP,

Okay,

There is more than the mind-body.

When I started meditation,

Oh,

There is this spaciousness that arises.

Sometimes a place where thoughts are a lot quieter became apparent in my experience.

So just intuition kept guiding me deeper and deeper until I recognized the truth of non-dual awareness.

And I love non-duality and that's why I share it,

Because of the clear language that it uses.

It's very simply saying I am aware.

We can now say I am aware and then we can explore this awareness deeply.

A lot of people's journeys though stop at non-duality.

It's like they discover their true self and they want to stay there,

To stay somehow detached from their bodies,

Detached from the human experience.

And intuition kept me going deeper,

Deeper,

Deeper still.

So the finding of non-dual awareness was just,

I would now call it the middle stage actually,

And then the embodiment of that awareness in day-to-day life is an ongoing process and it's beautiful,

It's mysterious,

It's unknown,

I cannot predict it.

And I love that.

So in all of the things that I explored after NLP,

For example,

A Course in Miracles teaches how to listen to the Holy Spirit,

Which is quietening the mind,

Quietening the body,

Letting go of any purpose,

Any sense of needing to achieve anything,

Just receiving some guidance from what the book calls God.

Then Way of Mastery talks about this practice that I love sharing,

Putting your hands on the heart,

Asking what do I really want to do next.

Again,

Staying in a place of meditation,

Going to intuition,

Into deep knowing and acting from there.

And in non-duality teachers such as Ramana Maharshi say,

Let us not pose as doers but resign ourselves to the guiding power.

So to me that is intuition,

Following this inner knowing that is always there.

One way in which I did that is through dowsing,

Which is just a very clear way of receiving yes and no answers.

Of course,

Sometimes there are trick answers,

For example,

Your body says yes,

But the dowsing tool says no.

So then you have to come back to the body and come back to what you really want,

Not what these guides that we can't even see tell you to do.

So it's again a fascinating journey of deep,

Deep embodiment.

And ultimately it's all about surrendering,

Listening deeply to the body,

Listening deeply to all that is happening,

Kind of analyzing it but not over-analyzing it.

And yeah,

It's a beautiful journey.

So let me know just so far if this resonates with you,

If you've had a similar path,

If you can tune into your own intuition and know what is right,

If this is how you live,

If you've made it a practice that you do often.

I'm curious to find out.

And two other things that I want to mention before going into the questions and answers is first,

Purpose,

Which is a fascinating topic.

And there's this beautiful story of one guy walking in the forest,

Asking himself,

What is my purpose?

What is my purpose?

Over and over again.

Then he sees a tree falling,

Then he goes,

He puts it back up and he keeps repeating,

What is my purpose?

What is my purpose?

And so often we miss our purpose.

It is just what we do.

It is just what is unfolding.

That's purpose.

The purpose is presence,

Just being with what is.

It's so simple that it's very easy to overlook.

And the second thing that I want to kind of invite in the conversation is this idea of the middle path.

The middle path is very often the unknown path,

Because the mind talks about or just visualizes kind of extremes,

Even if it's very subtle.

It's black or white.

It is right or left.

It is good or bad.

But the middle way is very often both.

It's both good and bad.

I can go here,

But I can go right first,

But then turn left.

And yeah,

That's how the path unfolds when you surrender.

Just in order to release all of these assumptions,

Beliefs,

Conditioning,

Ideas of right and wrong,

And keep putting us in a present moment that the mind can't quite agree with or accept until,

Of course,

It fully accepts it.

Yeah,

So I think that,

As I said,

In non-duality a lot of people just stay to this resting as awareness,

Not fully embodying the human experience,

Being present,

Being themselves,

Being unique,

Because we are all unique.

And that is a suppression of the body-mind world ultimately.

So the embodied path is the path of no suppression.

So that means accepting what is,

But also expressing our desires,

Our intentions,

Our wants.

If we want anything to be different,

Then we can say to someone,

I love what you just did,

Great that you enjoy it.

On my side,

I think that this would add to our current situation,

Or I even imagine it could go this way.

So it's not a suppression,

Not saying no to anything,

But it's also not suppressing what you think,

What you desire,

Your opinion.

And in the same way,

You can do that with your own thoughts and feelings,

Not suppressing them,

Allowing them,

But also,

When necessary,

Trying to change them,

To feel differently,

To whatever is in your experience,

To to go in the direction that you want your life to go,

Not just passively accepting what is,

Even if you don't like it.

Varsha,

I love your questions.

You say,

Where does intuition come from?

Is it from within or outside of us,

As divine guidance?

So with my journey with dowsing,

It really started off as a journey of separation,

You know,

I am here,

I ask a question,

I use these tools to tell me yes or no,

And so the guides,

Whatever is flowing through my body in this moment,

It's like I let go of myself and I let it flow through.

So in that case,

It was outside of me in a way,

Even though it went inside of me,

And it felt like some divine guidance.

But over time,

What happened was that I became very able to feel the energy move through my body,

So eventually I didn't need tools anymore,

And nowadays it's just very clear what I feel,

What to say,

What to buy,

What to know,

Everything is just clear.

So the separation that is initially there,

It's a belief and it is slowly being worked on,

Released,

Let go of,

Surrendered,

Until there is no separation.

And of course,

Even the concept of inside and outside,

You know,

From the perspective of awareness,

Everything happens within,

Whether it is a sound over there,

A conversation I'm having with someone,

It's all within my awareness.

So ultimately,

Everything happens within and is within.

Glad you resonate with it,

Thank you.

And it's interesting to me,

And again,

Now that I'm saying it,

It's like,

You know,

The first thing I said,

One of the first things I said,

I was differing in Bulgarian,

English and French,

It's like I needed to unite these different selves into one being.

And in the same way,

I had this practice of dowsing,

Of following the Holy Spirit,

Of asking my heart,

And now I see them all as guiding,

It's the same guiding force,

Just in different wording,

And it leads to the same intuitive,

Intuitive way of being.

And again,

That's the whole journey,

Is finding what we believe,

Differences that we see,

And ultimately,

Over time,

Bringing them together in one unified way.

So I said in the chat that I will also tell you ways in which you can go deeper into these explorations.

Of course,

I've already mentioned some books and my own journey,

But as a result of deeply exploring and sitting with all of these experiences and realizations,

I've created a few courses.

One of these courses is called Tuning into Intuition through Dowsing,

And it's part of a larger six-month program on applied non-duality,

The art of living in freedom.

And the program itself incorporates all of these different practices that I found helpful,

And also starts with undo awareness and slowly goes deeper through the mind,

Through the body,

Into embodied knowing.

Until your whole life just unfolds,

Until your purpose is what you do next,

That's your purpose,

What you're doing right now,

That's your purpose.

There's nothing about the future to worry about,

Nothing from the past to bring you out of the present.

It's just a continuous flow.

And I'm also running a retreat in April,

My first one in the UK.

The first day will be about non-dual awareness,

Then natural movement,

And then intuition and dowsing.

So yeah,

I really look forward to that and to being in person maybe with some of you.

So yeah,

Feel free to have a look.

Marcia,

You say apart from dowsing,

What other tools do you suggest?

Is tarot also a part of listening to our intuition?

Great that you ask that.

There is another beautiful practice,

And maybe that's the first time I really experienced that everything is happening within,

And it's called a synchronicity walk.

And that includes just walking without a purpose,

Using dice,

Using tarot cards,

Using intuition to see where to go next.

Maybe you have a question that you want answered,

So in this way you open yourself up to the universe to give you the answer in a very creative way.

And what unfolds is often miraculous.

The people you meet,

The places you go,

What you see even in an environment that you've lived in for 15-20 years,

You see new things.

So yeah,

It's a beautiful way of going on a walk.

Marcia,

I think we're connected,

So I will send you a video in which I talk more about these synchronicity walks in particular.

And anyone else who is interested here,

Please also let me know and I'll message you that resource as well.

And I also feel like adding,

I often say that any experience is the activity of awareness,

But awareness itself is not active,

It just is.

It allows things to unfold in the pattern that they're following.

So that's why,

Because activity has to surrender or end in what is bigger than itself,

Which is non-activity,

Restfulness,

Stillness,

And any form has to return to the formless,

That's why ultimately stillness and silence is the the answer to all questions,

All activity of the mind-body.

Cat Blue,

Very nice to see you here,

You say love dowsing,

Glad to hear it and glad to hear that you continue exploring this way of tuning into intuition.

Varsha,

You say yes I do that and usually I find feathers and signs on the way as a message.

Beautiful,

I've heard that feathers are kind of angels telling you I'm here for you,

I don't know how true it is,

But wonderful that you're already opening up to the universe in this way.

Daphne,

I hope I'm saying your name right but you heard it now,

So yeah,

You can have a look at how it works.

I find it quite fascinating,

I've never met anyone who uses the tools like me.

Most people kind of ask questions and receive answers like where to find water or they explore some building sites or some haunted places or just things like that that are very,

I don't know how to call them,

Maybe mainstream spiritual,

But what I found is that the best way is for the body-mind to become a tool of the dowsing tool,

So even asking the tool what should I do next and then opening up to receiving what it says.

So for a while my practice was to ask what should I do next,

Is it on my laptop,

Is it in this room,

Is it in my apartment or house,

Or is it outside?

And they say yes to one of these,

If it's on my laptop I go further,

Is it on chrome,

Is it in this folder,

Etc.

And just until I receive the next thing to do.

And it requires quite a lot,

Especially in the beginning,

Stillness and presence of mind,

Which is a beautiful practice in itself.

At Lul you've used dowsing for decades,

Amazing,

And I wonder if you also feel this,

You know,

Do you still need the tools,

Do you feel the energy flowing intuitively through your arms,

Like what stage of the intuitive process are you on?

And Daphne,

Wonderful,

Great.

What I also love about dowsing and my teaching in general is that yes,

I can share my journey,

I can share my insights,

But ultimately a true teacher for me has to return the power to whoever is here.

So I can only guide you,

I can only say what I say,

But ultimately it's up to you to tune into your intuition,

To take these practices into your own life,

To return to the true self.

That's why I kind of refrain from even being the main teacher or or teaching someone for a very long time,

Because that in a way means I failed,

They have to return to their own self,

They have their own spiritual guides to guide them,

So that's why I'm here,

It's to show you this power within you.

At Lul,

Sounds great,

Yeah,

When it's helpful you use it and that's great.

And another thing that's different about me compared to other non-dual teachers is this exploration of dowsing,

Is this exploration of movement,

It's not just about exploring awareness,

Although ultimately that's all that there is,

But I found these things to be so so precious,

So helpful,

That I have to share them with everyone.

And it's not always easy to fully embody the human experience and to release all these tensions that have been stored in our bodies often for decades,

But it's always a fulfilling and rewarding journey in the end.

Cat Blue,

Which practice dowsing becomes part of the flow?

Yeah,

Exactly.

And what isn't part of the flow?

Even not being in the flow or feeling like you're not in the flow is part of the flow.

And there is this quote that's been on my mind a few times during this event,

Which I really love and I will leave you with this,

It is,

Only God or truth is real,

The universe is an illusion,

God or truth is the universe.

And I love that because the mind just can't get it,

It's the middle way that I've been talking about,

It's the,

Everything is the same life force,

There is no illusion,

Everything is illusion,

There is no God,

Everything is God,

All of that true at the same time.

And I love that just by reading exactly Varsha,

Everything and nothing,

Just by reading a quote like that,

You sort of have to surrender to get it.

And that's what I'm about,

This is what my talks are about,

Experiential knowing,

Surrendering,

Living in truth and finding peace in the stillness and in the activity in whatever unfolds.

So thank you everyone for listening,

Thank you for all your comments and questions,

And yeah,

I look forward to seeing you again soon.

Bye-bye for now,

Thank you.
