Namaste,
Greetings to you from the beautiful Nusa Lembongan,
An island in Bali.
I'm sitting right by the ocean and feeling the beautiful energy of water element and the sun,
The light element and the support of the earth element and all being contained and accommodated in this mystery of the infinite space.
So let us begin.
You can take a comfortable seated position.
It can be on a chair or on the floor.
And slowly close your eyes.
Let's become aware of the sitting position.
Become aware of the sensation of the sit bones on the floor.
Discern the experience of touch and the observing awareness.
Just sensing both.
The object of experience,
The sit bones and the subject of experience as to who is experiencing the sit bones is this vast mystery.
Now become aware of the touch of your eyelids against each other.
Bring or invoke the power of your attention by completely being at the sense of touch.
So as you try to attend deeply to the sense of touch of eyelids,
You're also invoking your ability to withdraw attention from anything else other than the eyelids.
So even if other thoughts are showing their presence,
You are in this movement of withdrawing from them and abiding more and more in this sense of touch of eyelids.
Notice the object of the experience as eyelids and the subject of experience as non-defined pure consciousness,
Pure light.
Let's take a few deep breaths now.
So exhale completely through the nose.
Inhale softly.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale softly.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Inhale one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Inhale one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
A normal breathing and for a few moments you can be in the awareness of this amazing rhythm called breath.
Just the rising of the inhale and then the slow setting of the inhale,
The rising of the exhale,
It rises,
It swells,
It holds its position for a while and then it is slowly going down and submerging.
And from its submergence emerges the swell of the inhale,
Just noticing the waves of inhale and exhale on the ocean of your consciousness.
And now let's move into the chakra context.
So internally become aware of your pelvic flow.
So to connect to the space for a few moments,
You can gently contract your sphincter muscles,
Your anal sphincter muscles,
You can gently grip and then release.
Again softly engage contract,
Maintain that soft contraction,
Breathe normally but continuing to maintain the soft contraction.
Now see whether you can intensify this contraction a little bit more.
Do not tense anywhere else and allow the breathing to just happen.
Now softly let go of the contraction as well.
Now be with the space where this contraction was taking place,
Be with this space.
This is the field or kshetra of what we call mooladhara chakra.
This is the energy which supports and the energy which is going to manifest the express realities of your life.
So it's a very powerful field.
Now being here,
You can affirm your intentions.
So the base support mooladhara of any moment of your life should be intention.
So you can intent along the lines of responsibility,
Along the lines of wealth and value creation,
Along the lines of fun and enjoyment and along the lines of freedom and independence.
So you can self affirm,
May my intentions of responsibility,
May clarity of intention form in me and may these intentions support me today.
May I not forget my dharma,
My responsibilities.
May beautiful intentions of my dharma towards myself,
Towards family,
Towards community,
Towards earth,
May all of that rise.
And may I be supported throughout the day by these beautiful intentions.
For a few moments you can just repeat these intentions by yourself,
Repeat this affirmation.
And if some clarity starts to follow,
Noticing them,
Giving more power to them,
Giving more clarity to them.
And slowly become aware of your sense of self value,
Self worth.
May I intent,
May I be supported by the intention of enhancing my self value.
May I hold myself in the highest esteem as possible.
May I not see myself as lowly,
As unworthy.
May I sense and receive the incredible gift of my own embodiment.
May I work to increase my value,
My worthiness,
My assets,
May I increase my wealth in my chosen field.
May I increase my wealth in finances,
May I increase my wealth of information.
May I increase my wealth of relationships.
May I increase my wealth of richness,
Of feeling emotions.
And for a few moments just be with how these ideas are forming in you,
Giving you more and more clarity.
See yourself as this beautiful being,
This amazing being.
You are revelation of the universe itself.
All the capacities of the universe are in you.
Just feeling it,
Just receiving it.
Now slowly becoming aware of yourself in terms of celebration,
In terms of enjoyment,
In terms of wonderment,
In terms of happiness.
May my intention of being happy,
Of being rapturous,
Of being in joy support me throughout the day.
May I intend to be joyful and to be sharing joy and may I be supported throughout the day by this intention.
May I find and experience joy in all my different associations today,
In my relationships,
In my activities,
In my breath,
In my seeing,
In my hearing,
In all my activities.
May I experience the joy of wonderment,
Of receiving.
Now start to become aware of yourself in terms of freedom.
It's very natural that we feel ourselves as bound,
Entangled,
Trying to figure a way out of different situations we find ourselves caught up in.
And right now,
May my intention of freedom support me throughout the day.
I am free.
I am free.
Thoughts and opinions and beliefs and stories,
They entangle me but I choose freedom.
I engage but not entangled.
May I be always able to celebrate yet be liberated.
Just stay here for a few moments,
Envisaging yourself as this beautiful responsible being through whom dharma flows.
Envision yourself as this being of great value.
Envision yourself as being joyous and conditionally joyous,
Able to find joy in all conditions or no conditions.
Envision yourself participating and engaging yet totally free.
Now sit and try to feel all this and may these intentions and visualizations support you from the core base of your being.
You have installed all these intentions into the vortex of Mooladhara chakra.
May it bring all of this into your life today.
May I experience the reality of all of this in complete trust of the powers of my Mooladhara chakra.
I am in peace.
I am in joy.
If you have time sit for a while longer.
