So welcome to our Unchanging bliss meditation Your true nature is unchanging ever-present bliss and as we know our dualistic minds Will never get this so we meditate as the key to Dropping in to that vast always available ocean of bliss which truly permeates our whole lives So find your comfortable seat Comfortable seat means somewhere where the pelvis is Higher or the hips are higher than the knees rather Eyes are closed Face is soft shoulders are relaxed Mentally preparing to sit here for about 10 to 12 minutes Knowing we're not here to fix to stop to change anything We just allow the thoughts to rise and fall With continued effort to Sweetly kindly gently keep directing the attention back to the truth of who we are Allow the breath to lengthen and deepen So we just take this first couple moments to allow the nervous system to settle wherever we are in the day We allow a moment like Cascade the cascading of particles falling down in a glass.
We need a moment just to arrive Because it's when the nervous system is quiet the parasympathetic Nervous system has come online that the Mind can quiet in in itself.
The breath can lengthen and deepen and the thoughts can Begin to take less importance they Arise and fall from somewhere But we don't put any importance on the thoughts during the meditation practice Keeping The attention there behind the closed eyes on the blue black space Allowing the awareness to expand So we arrive in that seat of the watcher the Sakshi the witness self we can observe the Thoughts coming observe the thoughts subsiding Observe the breath coming in Observe the breath coming out And for the purpose of this meditation where we tune into that unchanging bliss that is prior to any thought prior to Any breath We remain identified with that space of stillness of silence between Thought between breath We can bring in a mantra if the thoughts are too distracted We bring in the mantra so hum I am So I am Keeping the mantra circulating so hum I Am And the I am statement is complete as it is so we don't pick up any Identifications any qualifications we simply stay in the presence of I am Of the beingness the isness of I am Just as The ocean waves or the ocean bubbles appear to be separate from the way or from the ocean The Thoughts are not separate from that vast self But rather than identify with the thoughts the individual sense of I am something We remain united in the vast ever-present deep ocean of I am I I am that presence.
I am that stillness.
I Am that silence In learning to meditate will never Stop the waves of the mind Because the nature of the mind is movement So rather than try to force to fix to change to stop anything we simply Keep expanding the awareness.
We continue Cultivating that presence that vastness that oneness of I am so Happiness and sadness can come and go but the ever present bliss of I am The ever-present Knowingness of I am is there whether there's happiness or sadness Whether there's life or death We keep the mind focused and concentrated on I am Taking a few minutes in Your stillness in your silence of I am So hum So So So Just as the waves appear separate from the ocean Who you are is not separate from that ever-present blissful self In The same way the Sun rays are not separate from the Sun The tree is not separate from the seed Feel that deep interconnected Oneness of the blissful ever-present unchanging self The life that permeates all Whether a body appears or a body disappears You are that ever-present unchanging self Sat chit anand Absolute truth Absolute consciousness Absolute bliss Keep drawing the attention back to the space between the thoughts between the breaths remaining established in The seat of the knower the one who knows I am The one who can perceive the thoughts and breath can perceive the body meditating Feel the awareness expanding Into the space behind the closed eyes Last minute or so here in your seat of meditation The last few moments to dip into the truth of who you are Knowing the more we practice the more we return to this space of ever-present unchanging bliss The more clear the more aware the more accepting and loving we are with eyes open The more clear the more aware the more accepting and loving we are with eyes open Your individual ego sense of I with the Responsibilities the names the jobs the qualifications is ever-changing This is the true Source of you,
Which is unchanging Ever-present I am Bringing the palms together Over the heart center roll the shoulders down and back take a moment of resolve with yourself Before you come back into the waking state Bringing with you that spaciousness that blissfulness into each and every interaction each and every Conversation for the rest of the day rubbing the palms together Making some heat in the palms And as you exhale cup the hands over the eyes Gently massaging the third eye down through the temples releasing the jaw Bringing your hands down somewhere onto your chest.
Take a big full inhale into your hands and Exhale press down on your chest into your heart space receive your own love your own nourishment Which all comes from that same source that same I am that permeates us all Giving thanks for this privilege of practicing of having time to meditate I'm around hum a drum hum.
Oh,
I'm Ted set.
Hey,
Do you?
