Relax.
Some days we just feel tense and know we need a way to release this tension,
But we don't know how.
This is a short guided meditation that may help you in releasing and relaxing.
Close your eyes dear one and let my words wash over you as you stay present in your body.
Take a deep breath and then release it with a sigh.
Take another one.
Release it with a sigh.
Take a third one.
Release with a sigh.
Feel the blood running through your veins.
Feel your heart beat carrying the blood through the body.
Feel the skin on your scalp.
Feel your eyes resting in their sockets.
Feel your jaw and whether it is clenched or not.
Feel your lips relaxing while you wondered about your jaw.
Feel your neck muscles holding your shoulders and then soften them.
Feel your arms,
Elbows,
Wrists and hands and then let go of any tension you hold in them.
Feel the prickling of your fingertips as the energy runs through them.
Feel your back muscles holding you up.
See if you can soften them while still sitting tall.
Feel your rib cage and then release the tension from it.
Feel your abdomen and then let it soften.
Feel your hips and send them some love so they can soften too.
Feel your thighs and release them.
Feel your knees and calves and soften them.
Feel your ankles and feet and let them relax.
Take a deep breath,
Dear one.
Be with yourself in that beautiful body of yours and release any tense spots that you can still feel.
Follow the chain of sensations that carries your focus through your body.
Where do you feel something in your body?
Stay right there with that sensation and observe it and maybe try out what happens when you soften around it and give the sensation some space.
Keep breathing deep,
Dear one.
You are well deep down.
You have the love and strength inside yourself to conquer anything.
You are a beautiful soul of divine origin.
We are impacted by what happens in the world around us,
No doubt.
And we can decide how to respond instead of reacting.
By practicing how to relax into your body,
You are increasing your physical,
Mental and emotional capacity.
That enables you to take some space and to respond from a place of love instead of reacting from a place of stress or tension.
Every time you do a practice like this,
It increases your capacity.
We build this capacity over a long time,
No matter what our outer circumstances are,
So that it is available to us in times of need but also in our day to day.
Keep showing up for yourself.
Keep taking care of yourself and stay in the practice.
We can only give if our vessel is full.
You are cared for.
You are loved.
Be well,
Dear one.
Namaste.
