Transcript

I would like you to find a comfortable sitting position and if you wish to you can gently close your eyes,

Take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale through your mouth.

Now you can breathe normally and don't try to control your breath.

Focus on the sensation of breathing.

Notice the air moving in and out of your nostrils.

Feel your chest rise and fall and observe your belly expand and contract.

If your mind wanders that's okay,

Just bring your attention back to your breath.

Now try counting your breaths.

Inhale one,

Exhale two,

Inhale three,

Exhale four.

Count up to ten then start over.

If you lose count simply begin again at one.

And for the last few breaths let go of counting.

Just be aware of each inhale and exhale.

Now you can slowly open your eyes and take a moment to notice how you feel.
