Welcome to this sacred space of mindfulness,

A place where we can explore the practice of cultivating self-love and body acceptance.

As we embark on this journey,

Find a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down,

Allowing your body to settle into a state of relaxation.

Gently close your eyes and take a deep,

Nourishing breath,

Allowing the air to fill your lungs and then releasing it slowly,

Letting go of any tension.

Let's begin by turning our attention inward,

Tuning into the sensations of our body,

Feeling the gentle rise and fall of your chest with each breath,

A reminder that you are alive,

Connected to this present moment.

Bring your awareness to the weight of your body and the points of contact between you and the surface you're resting on,

Allowing yourself to sink into the support beneath you,

Acknowledging the comfort it provides.

Let us begin to recognize that our thoughts often shape our emotions and behaviors.

Take a moment to notice any thoughts that arise,

Particularly those related to your body or your self-image.

These thoughts might be critical or judgmental,

Stemming from societal norms or past experiences,

But without judgment,

Simply observe these thoughts,

Allowing them to come and go like clouds passing through the sky.

Let's gently shift our attention to our breath.

It is the powerful anchor that can ground us in any present moment.

Feel the coolness of the inhale as you breathe in,

And the warmth of the exhale as you breathe out.

With each breath,

Invite a sense of compassion into your awareness,

Just as you would offer comfort to a dear friend.

Offer that very same kindness to yourself.

We begin today's sacred journey standing at the edge of a peaceful lake.

The water is calm,

Reflecting the vast expanse of the sky above.

Notice the ripples that form on the surface of the water.

Each of these ripples represent one of your thoughts,

One of your beliefs,

One of your emotions.

With intention,

Look around you and notice that you are standing on a shoreline filled with pebbles.

Choose a pebble and hold it in your hand.

This pebble represents a negative thought or belief about your body,

Something that you wish to release.

Hold it for a moment,

Acknowledge its weight,

And then gently toss it into the lake.

Watch as the pebble creates a ripple that spreads outward,

Gradually dissolving into the water.

As you witness this transformation,

Remind yourself that you have the power to release limiting beliefs and thoughts,

Just as the pebble merges with the water.

You too can dissolve these patterns and make space for self-love.

With each pebble you release,

Visualize it being absorbed by the water,

Leaving you lighter and more open to the love that exists within you.

Return to your breath,

Your companion on this journey.

As you breathe in,

Repeat the affirmation silently in your mind,

I am worthy of love and self-acceptance.

With each inhale,

Feel the truth of these words infusing your very being.

With each exhale,

Let go of any resistance,

Any self-doubt,

Allowing these words to become your inner mantra.

I am light.

I am free from feeling heavy in body and spirit.
