Eliminate Stress Meditation Eliminate stress meditation.

Start by finding a comfortable position.

Breathe naturally.

Feel each breath as it enters and exits the nostrils.

Feel your participation in the present moment.

Imagine a woven basket lying at your feet.

Into that basket gently place all your fears,

Worries and stress.

Just leave them all there and mentally cover the basket with a soft blanket.

With stress now put aside.

Breathe naturally for several minutes.

Now mentally reach into the basket and pull out a stressor that you lovingly place in there.

Look at it.

Analyze it mindfully.

Lean into it.

Can you do something about what is stressing you?

If so,

There is no need to stress because an action can be taken to remedy the situation.

If there is nothing you can do,

Find to fix the particular situation,

Then why stress over something over which you have no control?

Stress is part of living sansara.

See those things that cause you stress and discomfort and slowly transform your relationship to them.

Welcome them with an open heart and not a closed fist.

These stresses are opportunities for growth,

For change and for guiding you on the path.

These stresses are clear indication of what karma you need to work on and work out.

Knowledge is power.

One by one pull out every stressor from your basket and go through the same process.

At the end of your meditation your basket is empty.

You feel lighter,

More relaxed and more aware.

You can access this feeling anytime during the day by stopping what you are doing,

Breathing deeply and giving thanks for the opportunity for transformation and change.

May peace be with you.

May you be well.

May you be happy.

May you be peaceful.

Meet your Teacher

Best morning medication on my day off. Helped me see clearly what my stressors are about and which can be fixed and which one I need to lt go of that I can't control.

My favorite saying is, “Worry is using your mind to create things you do not want to happen.” I don’t know the author but it has grounded me the same through every situation. If I cannot do anything about it and I let it go.

a little more explanation of karma would help me. In the west it’s understood as punishment for bad behavior…. Oversimplification but it would help me make peace with these situations to have a deeper understanding. Maybe a new meditation on karma from you? Loooove your work thank you 🙏🏽 for your beautiful healing work and beautiful soul

I loved the weaved basket visualisation. Taking thinks back out and embracing them with an open heart instead of a closed fit may take more practice. I enjoyed that as a stress reduction meditation it was not just conscious breathing. Thank you and Namaste 🙏

What a wonderful little practice to start my day out with. I just finished The Book of Joy by The Dali Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu and a similar lesson was described there. If there's a way to overcome a difficult situation, make an effort to do so. If there's nothing that we can do, there's no need for fear, or sadness, or anger, rather acceptance is the key. Changing one's perspective changes ones reality. Thank you❤.

This is a beautiful, effective few minutes of reminding myself that life is what it is. I have the power to acknowledge and be open to the things that I fear and that worry me so. This simple and profound meditation, is a peaceful surrender. Namaste

Straight to the point of it. Give yourself a few breaths right before to center. Worked beautifully in the middle of a stressful workday.
