Music Welcome everyone.

May you be well.

May you be happy.

May you be peaceful.

Let's get comfortable together and choose our noble posture.

How we sit does not matter.

Honor your body for whatever feels good to you and let's take a long deep breath and relax your whole body.

Close your eyes and settle into this present moment.

These days I am watching my father aging.

I am learning a lot.

I want to tell you about it.

Preparing for aging starts at our birth.

How we live our lives,

The space between birth and death,

Honoring this journey and preparing for what comes next is important spiritual work.

Breathe in and let go of fear.

I am well.

I am happy.

I am peaceful.

Honoring this sacred life means finding joy.

Joy makes aging easier.

Let's together in silence and reflect on joyful moments in our precious life.

My father is a good man,

But he has always worked on material things.

Now he is old and aging quickly and does not have skills to manage his life.

He did not take time to cultivate inner life that helps with aging.

Let's breathe together and honor the importance of cultivating our mindfulness and inner life.

Breathe in.

Let go of fear.

I am well.

I am happy.

I am peaceful.

How we live in the fullness of this life prepares us for aging.

Practicing mindfulness meditation is the foundation for aging well.

Breathe in.

Breathe in and make a strong commitment to cultivate joy.

Breathe in.

My father has no practice of concentration to manage the discomfort the aging process brings.

His suffering has taught me that meditation is how we can prepare so we suffer less and observe the changes of aging with a curious and open mind.

This is so good to practice.

Breathe in.

Let go of your fear.

I am well.

I am happy.

I am peaceful.

I am asking you join me in a commitment to practice mindfulness meditation every day.

Even five or six minutes.

Time does not matter.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Let go of your fear.

Breathe in and make a strong determination.

I am also asking you join me in noticing joy and cultivating an inner happiness that will sustain us.

Now observe your mind.

Observe your body.

Your body is relaxed.

Your mind is calm,

Tranquil and peaceful.

Make a strong determination to practice meditation every day regularly with diligence and patience.

Understand how important this meditation practice.

Keep yourself happy,
