Welcome.
This meditation will have a bit of music in the background and it's here to support you in grounding and clearing and to allow you to feel rhythmically landed.
So go ahead and close your eyes.
You can take a comfortable seat or you can recline.
You'll use your breath as a healing tool here to clear anything that's not serving you.
So this is about finding a still point inside and centering yourself.
So once you are seated or you're reclined and your eyes are closed and you're very aware that you've removed that outer gaze,
You begin to gaze inward at the cave of your heart.
You allow yourself to breathe and imagine that the entire day has not begun if you're doing it in the morning or it's being rinsed out of you if you're practicing in the evening.
Either way,
It's a new beginning and every moment is an arrival.
So we depart from whatever it was that we were doing before this moment and you take some time now to pause to consciously nourish yourself with your breath and to make this time about you breathing in and out.
And in this moment,
All that is required is breath.
So go ahead and soften your brain away from your skull and allow yourself to feel heavy in the back body.
So if you're seated,
That heavy in the back body keeps you upright and if you're reclined,
That heavy in the body goes all the way through the bones to the floor.
And the work here right now is for you to just steady yourself into breath.
And it is work for many of us to consciously focus on our breath.
So just take this time to soften space between eyebrows,
Back of the skull,
Shoulder girdle,
Heart,
Pelvis and hips.
Feel your breath deeply in and out.
And start to notice that everything,
Everything is waiting for you right now.
You're in a space of cultivating,
Grounding,
Clearing,
And inviting more breath.
So you let the music bring you into a space of flow,
The rivers and the tides and the body moving through you.
And as you're breathing,
There's a moment where you feel everything.
Possibly a moment where you feel such lightness that you recognize you are not your thoughts.
So you delve into the spaciousness that you cultivate in the body.
And as you're doing this,
You're allowing the breath to move through the body and you're very aware so you may feel pressure changes in the abdominal cavity,
In the ribs,
In the back of the skull,
Maybe in the pelvis,
The thighs.
No sense of rushing.
Unhurried.
So start going.
The music is meant to bring you into your body,
Into your rhythm,
Into a state of presence and harmony with all things.
So as you ease your way back into the silence,
You recognize that now you can hear your breath deeply.
And as you're breathing,
You can know that there's always an inner rhythm,
An inner pulse.
And this time,
Sitting or reclining was for you to just clear,
To breathe,
To settle.
May you move through your day or into your evening with peace.
May you feel light and more than anything,
May you have gratitude for your life,
For your breath and for being here.
Thank you so much for practicing.
