Quickie Two. With our busy lives, sometimes we forget, even 5 minutes will allow reseting to happen. Allow this brief meditation to support you in refuelling and be with you. A shorter guided practice, of course you can stay longer.

Welcome,

I'm Bex and this is another quickie meditation for you.

I realize as someone who has a very full life,

On occasion it can be difficult to find time for a 10,

15 or 20 minute sit.

So the offering here is for you to reset with a simple amount of time and to just allow yourself to unspool in such a way that you can refuel and re-energize yourself.

So begin as always in a comfortable seat.

You can be in a chair,

Cross-legged,

On your shins or reclined.

Eyes close.

If that's super difficult for you,

Have your eyes about one tenth just a sliver open so you're really not taking in anything outside of yourself like all images are fuzzy.

We are intentionally removing sight so that we can bring the awareness to the breath and as the awareness comes to the breath we can allow ourselves to slow down.

And in this moment of offering more breath,

The organ of the brain is invited to soften almost a feeling of de-adhesing from the skull.

And so we take this time to breathe and fill ourselves up with knowing we can't know everything there is to know about ourselves yet.

And this is refreshing and this allows for us to authentically meet ourselves where we are right now.

So in the spaces in between the words you fine tune your connection with your breath and your divine source that is you.

If a mantra supports you,

You can work with I am here.

I am breathing.

I am refueling.

So you're taking these moments to cultivate calm and allow yourself to reclaim your inner goodness and to cultivate the space inside that sees you have everything,

Everything,

Everything.

So anytime distraction arrives,

Just notice it,

Thoughts will appear as long as you're not gripping they will also disappear.

The task is to just breathe,

Notice what's coming up for you and let it move through you.

This is a practice of receptivity and acknowledging that there is not one right way,

Many paths and so you breathe in such a way that allows you to be still,

Noticing that you are on a moving planet and that your heart is continually pulsing through your body.

You can continue to sit or be reclined or you can give yourself that moment of gratitude that you just took this time,

These moments for fulfilling yourself.

Thank you,

Thank you,

Thank you.
