Welcome.
I'm back and I will be guiding you through a meditation with a focus on earthing as our essence and grounding as a way to guide us inward to our breath.
So find a comfortable seat or recline.
If you prefer lying down,
Just make certain that you will be in a position where you will eliminate fidgeting and you will stay awake.
For my friends who are seated,
Establish comfort.
Allow your sit bones to ground you down.
Close your eyes.
Feel the eyelid seal and as you take away your vision outward,
Expand your gaze inward.
Deepen your breath.
Feel as if from the roots of your points of contact,
You feel plugged into the pulse of the earth and the energy of being grounded.
Let your spinal column become a conduit for clearing anything that isn't serving you so that you can reclaim your frequency of clarity.
With each breath,
Recognize that you are breathing in deeply.
And you are breathing out fully.
If the conversation in your mind is continuing to be quite noisy,
Follow the trail of your breath as if the in-breath and the out-breath become the dialogue for heightening your awareness around quiet.
And highlighting your ability to listen to the resonance of your breath.
Give full permission for each deep inhalation to bring you to a sense of feeling connected to something bigger.
And each exhale to unpack and release anything that's holding you back.
If it supports you to follow the rising and the falling of the belly or the widening and the softening of your ribs,
Allow the sensations in the body to keep calling you back to feeling the benefit of each beautiful inhalation and each rich exhalation.
When the mind wanders,
Note how your mind is wandering and come back.
Return to your breath and being here,
Seated or reclined,
Feeling that earth sense.
Let the breath explore everywhere in the body and let the body feel full from the breath.
Note that if anything is becoming a distraction,
All you need is more concentrated,
Easeful effort in the direction of breathing as a tool to invite you into this moment to reground you and to feel that simple sensation of presence.
Let the brilliance of your breath shine through you in a way that supports the stillness in the body.
If you find you're just now getting steeped in that revolution of breath,
Like waves moving through the body,
Continue to breathe and stay.
If you're finding that right now you have grounded,
Protected,
And served yourself,
You can take a couple moments to come back,
Be gentle,
And to find your way into slowly opening your eyes.
Remember at any moment throughout the day,
A deep full breath in and a deep full breath out can rinse and clear you.
Thank yourself for taking this time.
May each breath be your prayer and be an invitation for you to earth,
To ground,
And to clear.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
