Hello and welcome to this meditation.

This meditation is an invitation to allow us to find our center which is always there.

We can reunite with our center.

It allows us to center the mind,

The heart,

And as a result the body.

So please find a comfortable place to sit or stand or lie down.

Once you get yourself nice and situated,

Allow the spine to lengthen.

Allow the eyes to soften.

They can be opened or closed but they're soft.

Take a few natural breaths.

Inhaling through the nose,

Exhaling through the mouth.

This will help the body to really let go of what it has been doing and arrive in this very moment,

The present moment.

Continue breathing in through the nose and breathing out through the nose or the mouth.

Now think of something in the mind that brings the feeling of love.

Love and or compassion.

Keep this image or thought or maybe it's an experience.

Keep this at the forefront of the mind.

This thing that makes you resonate fully with love and compassion.

As you're holding this feeling of love and compassion,

Imagine that there is a pillar of light moving from your pelvis up the center line of the body to the tip top of the forehead and the crown of the head.

And as you breathe in,

Allow that light,

That pillar of light,

To move up the spine.

And as you breathe out,

Let the pillar of light move back down the spine.

Inhaling,

Bringing the light with you up the spine,

Nourishing every part of your spine.

As you exhale,

Allowing the light to move back down through the center,

Center line of the body.

Breathing in,

Bringing the light up the body and allowing the light to extend beyond the center line into the surrounding spaces of the lower,

Middle,

Upper spine,

All the way to the crown of the head.

Exhaling,

Sending that light back down the body to the seat.

Allow this light to be the experience of that feeling of love and or compassion.

So let now the feeling of love and compassion move up your spine on your inhale and allow those feelings of love and compassion move down the spine on the exhale.

Let's do that once more.

Inhale,

Breathing in love and compassion,

Maybe even with your light,

Up the spine from the seat to the crown.

Breathing out,

Allowing that love and compassion to flood the entire body as it moves from the top of the head back to the seat.

And then please return to a natural breath,

Breathing in and out through the nose,

Exhaling through the mouth anytime the body needs a little more release.

And then please bring your hand to your heart,

Your right or your left hand,

And allow your hand to connect with the center of the heart,

The space called the Hiranyagarbha.

This is the true center,

The space where love resides.

Tune in and connect with the heart and then bring the tips of the fingers to the heart.

And if it feels natural and easy for you,

Maintain that feeling of love and compassion and very gently begin to tap the tips of your fingers on the heart.

You can move across the whole chest,

Welcoming an opening to the heart.

You might stay at the center with your tapping or you might spread the fingers like the blossoming of a flower.

Whatever you choose all the while,

Please continue allowing the love and compassion to fill you and your heart.

And then slowly release the tapping and return the palm to the heart.

Feel your presence in this moment,

Right here,

Right now.

And take a deep breath in through the nose and out through the nose or the mouth.

And I thank you so much,

So much for joining me.

Please feel free to sit quietly in your space,

But we will close this practice wishing you peace and love and light.

May you feel your truth and your own compassion.

Namaste.
