We all get stress and anxiety around the holidays. You are not alone. Take a deep breath and believe the fact that "home" does not have to be a physical place. No matter where you are this holiday season, you are safe in your own breath.

Welcome yourself into this moment.

Close your eyes if that feels safe and really settle into this space.

Unclench your jaw and in between your brows as we like to hold tension there.

Lower your shoulders away from your ears and start to turn inwards.

Holidays can be very exciting but they can also cause a lot of stress and anxiety.

Maybe seeing some family you haven't seen in a long time is stressful or anxiety provoking.

Or maybe the thought of traveling across the country for a brief few days weighs heavy on you as well.

Maybe the excitement of the holidays brings you anxiety.

What is home to you?

Is it a physical place?

Is it a feeling?

Who is it with?

Home can be just you.

Home can be another person.

Home can be a place.

What feeling do you get when you center that home in your consciousness?

How does it feel?

Remember no matter where you are,

Home is always yours.

Maybe home is where you're going for the holidays or maybe it's not.

What's one thing you're looking forward to?

How are you going to feel when you experience this thing?

If you start to feel anxiety or an overwhelming emotion,

Know that you always can come back to your own breath.

You are safe there.

And remember that there is always space for you.

You may not feel seen all the time,

But there is a place for you.

Taking time for yourself is the biggest gift you can give yourself.

And you are free to do that whenever you need.

Take the time for you when you want to.

You are safe in your own breath.

Now begin to notice the sounds in the room around you.

Start to flutter your eyes open if they were closed.

One last deep breath.

Just being is enough.

With all my love.
