Grounding is a technique that helps you stay present and align with your own true. Sometimes you may find yourself lacking energy, experiencing anxiety, or feeling spacey with a distracted energy. Using this grounding meditation will help balance your energy. This meditation will help you to feel grounded, and also flexible (like a bamboo).

Okay,

Then let's sit back,

Close your eyes.

And just start to notice where you are in space.

Where are you sitting?

Notice if there is any smell,

Any light,

Any sound.

Notice what's around you.

Helping yourself to feel and notice how you're feeling about your thoughts.

Be calm.

You're thinking about the whole day,

Next day.

Your thoughts busy.

Notice how easy or hard it is for you to bring yourself to the present moment.

Just feel how you're feeling.

And as you notice you,

Starting to imagine some roots coming from the bottom of your feet.

Imagine yourself,

Anchoring yourself just like a tree.

If you wish,

You can remove your shoes and feel the earth with your feet.

And allow those roots to grow in every direction.

Allow the roots to go deeper and deeper.

All the way to the center of the earth.

Notice those roots starting to grow and expand.

Notice how is your energy shifting.

Notice how you're feeling.

Notice how does that feel to be grounded.

To be rooted into the earth.

As you're sitting there,

Allow yourself to sway just like a bungle.

Allow your body to go side to side,

Front to back.

Feel the wind moving you.

Notice how does that feel to be flexible and be grounded.

Let your body move as far as it can.

Play with that feeling of flexibility.

Vulnerable.

Let your heart open.

You are safe.

You are anchored.

You are grounded.

You may choose to do some circles or move your arms.

Notice that feeling of allowing your body to move in whatever direction it wants.

Slow or fast.

Can you be grounded and flexible?

Can you be grounded and vulnerable?

Can you be vulnerable and safe?

Allow yourself to feel those roots going even deeper and even wider.

Allow yourself to feel the difference.

Be in that moment,

Present moment.

To press a pause button.

From that place,

Allow yourself to feel what feels right for you.

What is your true?

Start deepening your breath and bring yourself back to your room where you are sitting.

Start feeling the chair or the couch where you are sitting.

Let your body feel a little heavier,

A little more grounded.

Notice the difference between now and when you started.

When you're ready,

You can open your eyes.

Let your body feel a little heavier,

A little more grounded.

Let your body feel a little heavier,

A little more grounded.
