
Coming Home To Yourself

This is a guided visualization meditation for releasing what isn't ours to hold so that we can make more space for our own energy. This meditation taps into the third eye to see energy as well as the heart, leaving the listener in a state of heart-centered awareness. Binaural beats accompany this meditation and are most effective when listened to with headphones.

Hey,
This is Becca and welcome to a meditation for coming back home to yourself to your own energy So just start by getting comfortable.
Take a deep breath Arrive here So there are two kinds of energy in this world There's your energy and then there's Everybody else's and we could say that Part of the spiritual path or part of a path of knowing thyself is To learn how to see and differentiate between what's actually me and mine and what's not mine to hold to keep and to identify with So It's simple And yet it's so deep.
So today we will practice Just getting some space from all that is not us So that we can come back home to ourselves and In doing that in connecting to the essence of who?
We are as individuals Knowing really our truth knowing really who we are then we can really connect with other beings pretty cool So Let's start by just visualizing that You're seated on a huge tree trunk.
Notice what kind of tree it is Notice that it's much bigger than your whole body.
It's much wider than your whole body and Notice that the base of your spine can connect to that tree trunk Your root chakra can connect to that tree trunk your Your whole body your whole being Even your sciatic nerves which collect in each of your butt cheeks can connect to that grounding cord that tree trunk and See that tree grow down through the building you're in Through the dirt and the rock beneath you through the limestone if you're where I am water Through all the layers of the planet through lava All the way down to the core of the planet The roots of that tree sink down into the core of the planet grounding you into this moment grounding you to the earth And you might just take a deep breath in And a big exhale And Intend to use it To use that grounding cord to let go.
It's kind of like a garbage chute.
It's hollow on the inside So as we're moving energy in this meditation We are just allowing gravity to work for us.
It's already happening here for you and And Whatever you're ready to drop just drops with gravity So,
How do I actually let go?
Instead of You know be in my head thinking about the thing how do I actually like do it?
With my whole being in this moment is right now.
There's nothing to figure out.
I I don't need to use my brain to think about it to make it happen.
It's so simple.
I'm just seeing the picture Just seeing the picture of it happening Seeing an image is different Than figuring something out and analyzing it.
Those are different Things so right now we just look we see And that's enough We let it be easy Decide that it's easy to let go with gravity and it is I Don't need to know what I'm letting go of I Can just let go But let's start to Look at what's Most wanting to be released right now,
And we'll poke it and then drop it so Looking for all this stuff inside of our beings that isn't Us isn't our energy How do we find it?
How do I know what's mine and what's not mine?
Here's a compass that I live by and you can Weigh it for yourself see if it works for you and makes sense for you My compass is this If something like a belief is Disempowering It's not mine to hold if it's empowering then it might be mine Likely but you know,
I'm sure there's a lot of weird stuff that could empower people It still isn't there but you know general compass if something's disempowering It might not be yours to hold So right now let's intend any energy in your space That is telling you right now that There's something wrong with you there's something wrong with you Oof Yeah,
Maybe that's just a lie What if that's a lie Hmm can we intend to let that lie go?
And just watch it like a rock just tumbling down that grounding cord back to the earth Mm-hmm and along with that,
Let's release anywhere in your space that You're ready to let go of any old shame Any old shame that you've been holding That says there's something wrong with you and you should be ashamed of that Now sometimes what we're releasing Now sometimes what we're releasing It might just be a belief you picked up from you know,
Who knows where Kind of floating in the ethers Read it in a magazine whatever but sometimes It's really connected to a certain person or certain people so maybe there's Someone else's voice in your space Telling you who you are telling you you should be ashamed and there's something wrong with you if that's the case I'll let all those voices to Drop out of your space because that's actually not your energy.
It's not yours to hold other people's opinions of you Are not actually yours to hold in your space That's theirs Taking some deep breaths Just letting go Letting that shame come off Your ears and your shoulders and your neck And anywhere else that you see it Dropping releasing from all spaces As you recognize That It's not actually who you are It's something you've picked up along the way and just like you picked it up.
You can drop it down and Let it go And now let's see if there's any energy in your space right now that says Because Because I'm not good enough.
I need to fix myself And once I fix this and this Then I'll finally be enough Yeah,
Let's let that go Wherever it came from Wherever you're holding it.
Maybe that one comes off the heart Just watch as that energy flows down and out of your space Maybe that one comes off the shoulders like a responsibility you're carrying To finally fix it I'm responsible for this I'm responsible for all the ways that I don't feel Like I'm enough of this or enough of that and I'm responsible for fixing it Nah,
Just let that go Just let it fall off your shoulders And just giving it to the earth letting it go Now Let's create an image of a big ball of light above you kind of like your own personal Sun and This Sun is full of this golden energy that is your energy your Essential frequency Now,
How do we know something is your energy?
It just feels good in your body.
That's how it feels empowering.
It feels good in your body.
It feels like this Feels like relief If you have memories of being a little little kid when we're in a little little kids Usually we just feel good.
We like who we are.
We look in the mirror.
We go look at that stud That's your energy your energy feels good in your body So you'll see above you this big ball of light Into this golden ball of light you'll start to call your energy back from Wherever you may have left it like rays of the Sun coming back and in Call your energy back from other people Call your energy back from the past Call your energy back from the future Call your energy back from Any places in the world where maybe you've sent it And as that Sun gets more and more full it's full with your own Frequency which feels good in your body As you focus on that ball of light You start to notice that it is just overflowing with your energy And it starts to pour down and into your space it pours down through the crown of your head Down this central column in your body Down your arms and your legs out through your fingers and your toes Filling every cell in your body with that Golden light and with your own energy Coming back to yourself Being full of yourself Which is a good thing be full of your own energy Allow yourself To be full of Your own light Which is no one else's no one else's energy is like yours You are here to know yourself and through knowing yourself That's when we're able to connect and Know others,
But first know yourself.
Who are you?
Take a deep breath in And exhale And now anywhere in your body Where you are holding?
Anything that says I don't belong here.
I don't belong in this place.
I Don't belong with those people.
I Don't belong on this planet Anywhere you may be holding I don't belong intend to let that go That's just another thing That we can drop it's not actually true Just watching Watching energy release down that grounding core Maybe some of that Not belonging comes off your head Maybe some of it comes off your back That might feel really heavy Anywhere you're carrying the belief that you are Separate from other people Give yourself permission to let some of that go right now Can we recognize that What we're looking for has never been lost That the truth of your being is Belonging for instance But on top of that truth We put this You can see it like a rock You can see it like a fog But we put this not belonging on top of belonging underneath that belief is The fact that you belong you belong on this planet because you're here You belong to this earth Because you're here You belong to other people because you're here and we're all here together And most importantly you belong To yourself you belong with yourself And you always have and when you can trust that Then it's clear that the not belonging Isn't really true.
It's something we make up The separateness Isn't really true.
It's something we make up being separate from each other.
How could we be?
There's a quote this is one of the Translations of the mantra om mani padme hum it is May I hold myself so closely That no separation remains within me Meaning The separation that I see in the world Between me and other people between Different groups all that separation is only reflecting the separation That we feel with our own selves How do I hold myself so closely so that no separation remains within me I Decide that no matter what whether I'm high or low Whether I've done something people are applauding or whether they're booing me Whether they're throwing rocks at me or Throwing flowers Can I love myself just the same Can that love I have for myself not depend on What I do and how I prove that I'm lovable But can it exist just like I would love a baby even though the baby poops his pants and isn't Making me any money The baby's not you know earning it But that baby is lovable right just for being just for existing And so are you cuz you're just a big baby You're just a big baby Mm-hmm And can we see ourselves with those eyes with these eyes that are more true than the vision we've developed from Being desensitized Living on planet Earth Can we see through these eyes that know who we really are So Let's intend now to release anything that you're holding against yourself Like I can't forgive myself because I did this once and I'm bad I'm just Shameful because I did this thing one time.
You know what you did it and you learn from it and let's let that Shame go and anywhere you can't forgive yourself.
Just let that go let that just drop out of your space Anywhere you're holding something against yourself Yeah,
Just deciding you know what I forgive myself I let it go It's simple Now see above you a Big golden Sun and into this golden Sun Let's bring the energy of Self forgiveness self compassion So that golden Sun fills with the frequency of forgiveness and compassion for yourself The frequency of you know what I think you're doing a pretty good job Look at all the things you've done Look at how cute you are Look at how you walk down the street you wiggle when you walk Look at the way you put yourself together you really care Look at how you treat people And now you'll just allow that big Golden Sun to just pour down and into your space Like you're a stack of pancakes and that golden Sun is maple syrup And you really are a heavy pourer with that maple syrup,
And you just bring it all the way in And you let that golden energy fill every cell in your body,
And you really really want to bring it into your heart center Letting yourself really receive that there take a deep breath in And exhale Bringing your attention now to your heart center And now see a golden light there in the center of your chest that golden light emanating your frequency your energy your truth your heart your presence Which is The most beautiful thing about you is your presence It's not all the things you've accomplished It's not what other people think about you It's not how great your hair is Although your hair is pretty great The most beautiful thing about you is your presence emanating from your heart center Allow your awareness to rest in this space which is Alive Bringing your awareness into your heart center so that we can know from that space and move from that space and to speak from that space and And hear from that space and Take the next courageous step From that space led from our hearts Challenge yourself as we close this meditation To keep your awareness there in your heart center To keep it there as long as you're able and then to not judge yourself When you inevitably go up into your brain,
It's okay It's not about how many times we fall it's about how many times we get up The point of meditation is not that you're already perfect and amazing at it.
The point is wow This isn't you know,
It's a little challenging and I'm gonna do it anyway I'm gonna keep returning return to the heart return to the heart even when it's hard Even when it's heavy Keep returning to the heart keep returning to this Spaciousness this presence that is who you are Step by step coming back home to yourself Remembering that that home inside of you has always been there It's only your own awareness that leaves
