Just for a moment,

Bring your full attention to the flow of breath.

As you are breathing in,

Know that you are breathing in.

As you are breathing out,

Know that you are breathing out.

Feel into the sensations.

You may notice expansion on the in breath,

Contraction on the out breath.

Maintaining this awareness,

Take three deep cleansing breaths.

Now just for a moment,

Bring your full attention into the sensations of your body.

Notice exactly where the body is in this moment.

Notice the temperature of the air around you,

Your position.

Are you sitting,

Standing,

Lying down?

Is your body moving?

Is it still?

Whatever's here,

Feel into the sensations,

The areas of your body that are in contact with the chair or the ground.

Whatever is around you.

Maintaining awareness of breath and on your next exhale,

Feel deeply into the sensations of your body right here.

Just for a moment,

Staying present with the sensations of breath,

The sensations of body,

Bring careful attention to your thinking mind.

The mind generates thoughts.

This is natural and welcome.

Thoughts are generated just like the heart beats.

Take this moment to notice the current pattern of thought.

Are thoughts moving fast or slow?

Are there many?

Are there few?

Are they planning,

Judging,

Figuring?

Perhaps they're reassuring thoughts.

Simply take note and observe.

On your next exhale,

Feel deeply into the sensations of your body right here.

Taking a full deep in-breath,

Know that you are breathing in.

Know that you are breathing out.

Notice sensations of stability with the position of your body.

Gently bring your full attention to any items that may be on the task list of your day.

Envision yourself transitioning from exactly where you are in this moment to the next item that is to come.

In your mind's eye,

Carefully watch yourself shift into this task.

Not yet moving,

Just observing,

Envisioning.

Bringing the attention back into the breath,

Back into the body,

And taking two to three deep cleansing breaths while gently beginning to tap.

Mindfully raise one hand full and open,

And lightly begin tapping over the top of your head,

Lightly tapping over your chest,

And lightly tapping over your abdomen.

Repeat this gentle tapping cycle two to four times while focusing in on the breath.

Feel into your breath,

Feel into your body.

Send a message letting yourself know that in a moment you are physically going to be shifting gears.

You will be moving back into the to-do's,

The moments,

The items that need to be completed today.

Let yourself know that this presence that you have just cultivated has been tapped in and is now a resource that can be accessed at any time throughout the day.

Simply by attending to the breath,

Knowing that it is flowing in,

Knowing that it is flowing out.

Gently,

When you're ready,

Open your eyes if they were closed and follow the lead of what you've just envisioned,

Maintaining attention to the body,

Maintaining attention to the breath.
