Talking With Spirit - A Spoken Word Meditation

This is a spoken word listening meditation. It was asked that I release a guided track on talking to Spirit. I was also asked to release an audio track around asking for support and guidance from Spirit in relation to our seeming obstacles or problems. This track is a combination of both guided and spoken word listening meditation. This track will assist you in centering in the deeper peace of your True Self and learning how to communicate in prayer and conversation with Spirit.

Hello family,

Blessed to have you here.

I've been asked for some time to do a short meditation on connecting to spirit,

Connecting to our authentic nature,

As well as to do a short audio track on my page about asking and requesting for guidance,

For healing,

For help.

And it was really on my spirit to do somewhat of a combination.

So while I have this listed under a meditation,

This is more of a spoken word meditation.

So it will be something of the two where this is a spoken meditation.

And I will begin with a few ideas and lead us into some thoughts around making these requests and these invitations inward,

Inside.

If you're new to meditation or you're old,

In my experience I heard a beautiful meditation teacher years ago say meditation is simply the art of practicing stillness.

This is it.

To find stillness,

Unchanging stillness,

Which is the language of God beyond words,

Beyond sound.

You cannot fail in your meditation if you are wholeheartedly devoted to being still and learning from this practice of the stillness teaching you.

Not to your intellect,

Not to your physical senses,

But to your spiritual sense,

The one that knows,

The one that already is the peace that you seemingly seek.

Some say prayer and asking is our part and the meditation is the receiving and the listening.

When I was thinking about doing a meditation on connecting with spirit,

I thought,

Isn't it the grand illusion that we have a mind that believes that we need do something to connect to spirit?

The grand illusion is that we have a mind that believes that we aren't always connected to spirit.

We might not be aware of this connection and this is the beautiful practice of meditation and prayer.

So I think that in needing guidance I'm going to go into some of the requests and calling out that I do sometimes in my lives that people ask for recording and then after this will be a state of listening.

Connecting with spirit is simply a willingness to be in the quiet,

To be in the stillness,

To learn to reside in longer periods of time in that stillness.

This is the connecting of spirit.

Do you think spirit or the infinite needs the dream body to do something to connect to it?

It needs only our intention,

Only our willingness to let the truth that it would communicate,

That it would remind us of in that stillness.

And the more that we dedicate we come into a trust,

A remembrance of this infinite peace that is always there.

If you aren't already at this moment I encourage you to be sitting in an upright position.

Doesn't matter if feet are on the floor or cross-legged in a couch or chair but I do encourage you to take somewhat of let's call it a meditative posture of stillness as I go into more of a dedicated spoken word here over the next few minutes.

And this track will take place over some time and just really let the truth of spirit sink into your cells and just know that your true authentic self is listening and receiving from the holy self that you are.

And then when this track is over you can go into a period of silence or stillness for as long as you like.

So any problem that is confronting you,

Any pain that is disturbing you,

Any issue that your mind,

This ego-identified individual mind,

We all must learn to see that if at our core we believe that we are a individual body with a private life,

The result in the effect of this misbelief must be calamity,

Doubt,

Suffering,

Loss,

Scarcity,

Sickness,

Pain.

That the only problem that we all truly have is that we are bound to a thought system that says this problem and that problem we must solve it.

But how can you solve an image on a movie screen?

There's nothing to solve but the mind that believes there is an obstacle that needs to be solved because only by believing that I am a separate self that's separated from the divine realm of my infinite nature,

Only in having this misbelief unquestioned do I suffer.

So all that have asked,

This is how I speak and learn to trust your own inner voice for mine is no different than yours.

As we join in stillness in this now moment and we say Father Mother God,

Holy divine love come upon me,

Come upon my spirit now.

I find myself in a state of illusion.

I find myself trapped in a cycle of fear misbelieving the story of financial lack,

The story of failing relationship,

The story of body illness,

The story of being wronged.

But you know the truth.

You know who I am Holy Father,

Divine goddess,

Masters,

You know me.

You have never forgot who I am.

You hold my divine mind in remembrance as it was given you to be the constant gentle communicator,

The restorer of what I thought I misplaced.

But you know that this thought has no power.

In this state I believe that I'm in,

I need your love,

I need your peace,

I need your power.

The power you know we share but that I seemingly think I have lost.

So I need your power to be stronger,

To fill me in this moment.

Father Mother God,

I pray for the willingness to be willing to stop using the idea in my mind of loss,

Of scarcity,

Of being wronged,

Of being betrayed,

Of not having enough,

Of abandonment,

Of abuse.

I pray for the willingness to be willing to stop using my rightness about these things to not know myself because while I'm right about them I place my mind in a state of false judgment and I perpetuate the seeming gap of separation that I say so desperately I don't want to be a prisoner of.

Set my mind free Holy Spirit.

I see that I have kept myself in a cycle of misery by being bound to rules and ideas and laws and misbeliefs that are not of you and as I am your divine son I am your divine daughter I can be under no laws but the ones that you created and your laws are eternal love.

Unharmable peace.

The quality that you created us in cannot be disinherited.

I must be dreaming and now in this moment I cry out in humility I would gladly awaken from this nightmare that I keep replaying with my own choices.

Holy Father,

Sweet spirit,

Divine masters Jesus,

Yogananda,

Kuan Yin,

St.

Francis,

You taught that we are one.

Although I may not be able to feel I would have what you know be restored to me.

I may still have too much faith in the magic of the world in the magical dream remedies the symptom treating remedies but you promised that your answer in your answer there is no fear there is no pain you know where I am in my state of awakening and some of you listening to this you may feel that it is beyond your current level of faith and trust that you might still need to take the medicine that you might still need to leave the relationship that there might still be some action in the dream that you can't let go of it's too scary to think I can't not act in this it can't all just be a healing of perception that is the only problem and solution I need so Holy Spirit hold me in your gentle embrace while I still believe that there are things in the surface that are very real you know that they are not but hold me in innocence let me learn to put down the sword of judgment and guilt upon others and myself I pray for the one divine shared mind to guide me and all that I do moving forward walk with me bring the right brothers and sisters the right situations the right circumstances into my life based off where you know that I currently believe I am restore my mind to innocence in this help me not use being right about the situation to stay a prisoner in the situation how can I know in this state of individualized mind that I think I'm in how could a separate mind know anything judge anything as true or false help me to forgive as it's all forgiveness you taught the true forgiveness is it never happened how can a dream be real but as long as I think it is I will be the at the effect of my dream of my belief so we pray now father mother God Holy Spirit and divine masters we pray for the courage and the willingness that you would help us forgive ourself for using whatever the obstacle on our mind is using it in our conviction that it is the problem that they are the problem using it as a means to stay in the prison of my separate state give me the courage however you may to stop using people in the world and these situations outside of me to stay asleep to the divine master that you know me as the great teacher Jesus said you will do greater works than even I the Masters taught we are all one he said I and the father are one the eye is the divine identity the Christ identity that all Masters taught we we are that we share but the fear mind that so many of us stay asleep in convinces us who am I to be the divine son it convinces us to stay in the prison of our fear and our littleness so many of us don't realize that we tell the story of the littleness and the calamity not to be free but to stay in its prison where the ego and fear mind has convinced us that we are safe safe from the annihilation of the divine love it would rob us of our kingdom our little kingdom but so many of us now are awakening to the call of our true self our heart rise daughters and sons of God and we ask for your answer so many of us have an answer expectation in the form of dream images of the form of something in the world but we would relinquish our expectation to the dream of our true of your answer of your timing of what you would bring into our life father mother God you created us limitless infinite beyond harm help me to release all the limitations of my mind that I might know that I might remember and that I might extend as my brothers did as my sisters did before me and we rest in this and I encourage all listening to this track to now spend time in the peace that is your nature divine daughter divine son of God that we are that I am with you that you are with me let the spirit of love and truth and peace wash in you wash over you and while this is a practice know that this feeling is the answer in truth you are home in heaven in the divine realm of infinite love seemingly dreaming a state of isolation that is untrue feel the dedication of your own stillness of this practice as the answer coming into the remembrance of what's always been there what always is and what always will be we are the great I am and we move into this stillness however long you feel devoted to by simply saying thank you thank you for what God gives is given and it is received so be it you
