Transitions.

Transitions happen all day long.

As we wake up,

As we go to sleep,

And throughout the day.

How are you dealing with transitions?

When you wake up in the morning,

Think about taking note of your breath,

Of your surroundings.

Just pausing and giving gratitude.

Sometimes seeking or listening to gratitude is difficult because we think of the things that we don't have.

We think of the things that we want,

Our shortcomings.

But what if we transitioned our day in gratitude?

As we awake,

Feeling our breath,

Our life within us.

Just noticing.

Seeking morning daily habits that are healthy is key to securing peace within self.

Maybe begin to institute some stillness and quiet as you wake.

Maybe we won't immediately look at or jump to our electronics,

Our tasks,

Or even other people.

Maybe as we wake,

We just take time.

Here.

Now.

Healthy daily habits could include just noticing the sounds around you.

Noticing the smells and just being without judgment,

Without rush,

Without the need to go.

Just being here.

And as you rise,

And your body starts moving,

Becoming more active.

Plan and dedicate how you live that day.

In the moment,

Being present.

We get so overwhelmed with all of the things that we must do.

All of the things that we have to do.

That we fail to give gratitude to ourselves,

To our bodies.

Seeking out peace.

Seeking out joy.

Today is the day for that.

Right here.

Right now.

Just notice.

Taking a deep breath.

In and out.

Maybe breathing through your nose.

Feeling your warm breath of life.

Life is a balance of both holding on and letting go.

Have you found your balance?

Are you still seeking your balance?

It is there for you.

Sometimes our transitions are from our daily assignments,

Whether it's work,

Or school,

Or the myriad of other things that we must do.

How do you transition from one space to the other?

Is it with care?

Nurturing?

Today's the day to pause as you transition from one thing to the next.

Maybe look up from the electronics.

To look straight in front of you.

To feel straight in front of you.

To smell straight in front of you.

Noticing the sensations of what pausing does for you.

Breathing here.

Noticing.

Sometimes transitions means to steal away with yourself.

Maybe it's in the corner.

Maybe it's in the room.

Maybe it's in the car.

Or as you walk,

As you flow throughout the day.

For those who have many tasks during their waking hours.

Sometimes it's difficult to notice self.

But here you have time to do that.

Right now.

You have space to do that.

In this moment.

Just taking time.

Giving gratitude for the work that you do.

The effort that you put in.

How can we turn that effort inward?

Celebrating self.

Nurturing your body.

Caring for your needs.

You are your best friend.
