Greetings.
Did you know that gratitude is an attitude and a practice?
When we take time to take a moment to be fully present to what we appreciate in our lives,
It can increase our ability to manage our life and feelings better.
I say thank you God,
Universe,
Spirit,
Creator all day long.
Whenever I say these words,
I immediately feel better.
This meditation is a short list of gratitude based on our body and senses.
I hope you enjoy this meditation as much as I enjoyed creating it.
You can use this anytime you want to truly appreciate your life.
You can stand,
Sit,
Or lie down for this practice.
Ready?
Let's begin.
Place one hand in the center of your chest and the other hand right above your navel.
Notice how that feels.
Take a deep breath in,
Extending your belly as you breathe in and releasing your belly as you exhale.
Let's take another deep breath this way.
And then extending your belly and out,
Releasing your belly.
Now press your feet down into the surface where you are standing,
Seated,
Or lying down.
How does this feel?
Take another deep breath in through your nose and push it out through your mouth with a loud exhale.
Notice any sensations or feelings if they arise.
Press your feet or body into the surface where you are.
Notice how it feels and how solid the surface is.
Take another breath in through the nose and push it out through your mouth with a loud exhale.
Remind yourself,
I am on solid ground.
Repeat after me.
I am safe.
I am grateful for being on solid ground.
I am grateful for my breath.
I am grateful for my eyes,
Sight,
And vision.
I am grateful for being able to breathe and smell scents,
Odors,
And fragrances.
I am grateful to be able to hear sounds and notice how I feel in my body.
I am grateful to be able to taste,
Chew,
And savor foods I eat.
I am grateful for my sense of touch and what it allows me to feel.
I am grateful to have a sound mind.
I am grateful and appreciate all of my thoughts,
Ideas,
And nudgeings.
I am grateful to be able to feel emotions,
Sensations,
And feelings in my body.
Let's relax our hands.
Check in with how you feel right now and say that feeling out loud.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth with a loud exhale.
Thank you for listening to this Gratitude is a Practice meditation focused on our body and senses.
Come back to this place anytime you need.
Namaste and be well.
