Good morning and welcome to this morning meditation.
The goal of this morning meditation is to get you started into this beautiful day with a sense of peace and calm,
But also with a deep sense of self-compassion that you so,
So deserve.
When you're ready,
Gently close your eyes and place your hands on your thighs if you're seated or gently next to your body if you're lying down,
But if you feel like you need to place your hand on your heart or on your belly or any part of your body that needs your love right now,
That is absolutely fine.
Now as you're in your comfortable position and your eyes are gently closed,
Begin by feeling the room around you and what's happening,
The noises,
The smells,
Bringing attention closer and closer to your body,
To the feeling of your hands touching a surface or your skin.
And with the next in-breath I invite you to take a deep breath in and a deep breath out,
Becoming aware of breathing.
Take a few moments of in-breaths and out-breaths to truly grasp the act of breathing.
How does the air feel entering your nose,
Your throat and your lungs?
Where can you feel the air the most?
And remember there's no right way here,
Wherever you feel it the most is the right way for you.
So pay attention to that life force entering your body and your lungs.
How does it feel?
And so as you're applying this curiosity to the act of breathing,
You can slowly resume breathing as you usually do.
And as you do try to check in with your internal weather right now,
This beautiful morning of a new day.
Are there any clouds or is the sky blue?
Maybe a little stormy.
Observe the weather and remember whichever the weather may be right now.
The blue sky is always there and that weather is only temporary.
And as you enter a state of deeper awareness and relaxation,
You may now pay attention to a few affirmations to get you started into this beautiful day.
Feel free to repeat those affirmations for yourself or simply listen to them and let them sink in at your own pace into your subconscious.
Whatever way you choose works best for you.
First Affirmation Today I choose to be compassionate with myself.
Whenever a difficult moment may arise.
And Affirmation Today I allow myself to feel all my emotions without any judgement.
Third Affirmation Today I choose to listen to my body and its needs.
Fourth Affirmation Today I choose to celebrate the parts of me that I may have kept hidden.
Fifth Affirmation Today I honor the journey I am on.
Sixth Affirmation Today I choose to be grateful for all the ways I take care of myself.
Like in this moment.
Seventh Affirmation Today I choose to befriend the parts of me that need it the most.
Eighth and final Affirmation Today I choose to love myself the way I need it.
Now as these affirmations are resonating within your mind,
You are free to relisten to this meditation any time of the day or as many times as you need.
Or repeat it on a daily basis and I guarantee you will feel more at peace,
More in sync with your own needs and wishes.
As these affirmations are sinking into your subconscious as they will throughout the entire day,
I invite you to gently open your eyes and allow yourself to just be for a little moment,
Not rushing,
Not running anywhere,
Simply being with this feeling of giving yourself this gift this morning,
Spending time with yourself,
Sending positive and loving energy to your mind and your body.
