Hello and welcome to today's meditation.

I would love to invite you to find a position that is comfortable for you.

Whether that means sitting down or laying on your back.

Take a moment to focus on your body.

Is there a way you could be a little more comfortable than you are now?

Remember,

This moment is for you.

Once ready,

Gently close your eyes.

Ease into the darkness and bring your attention to your breath.

As you do,

Take a deep breath in.

Feeling the air filling your belly.

Hold your breath inside your body for a few seconds.

And when ready,

Breathe gently out.

Now,

You may experience thoughts appearing out of nowhere.

And that is absolutely fine.

Imagine your thoughts as beautiful butterflies.

Do not try to catch them.

Simply let them pass you by and fly away.

Imagine that with every inhalation,

You're inhaling a gentle shimmering light full of positivity,

Calm and kindness.

Feel the air in your lungs,

In your belly.

And as you breathe out,

Imagine that this same light gently exits your body.

Together with any tension,

Any stress,

And any negativity that you may hold inside you at this exact moment.

Feel your body become lighter and lighter with every exhalation.

Feel the tension release from your shoulders,

From your chest,

From your joints,

And all over your body.

How does your body feel right now?

If you are experiencing any tension or even pain,

Gently breathe into that part of your body with an intention of kindness and acceptance.

Direct your attention to the bodily feeling of being alive.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Imagine this shimmering light slowly filling up your body with warmth.

Starting at your feet and flowing slowly towards your knees,

Your hips,

Your belly,

And your chest.

Slowly you feel the warmth in your arms and your shoulders,

Your neck,

And your head.

You have become a shimmering body of warmth.

As any thought passes through your mind,

Gently wave at it and let it pass by.

Feel the peace and the warmth brought to you by the shimmering light created by your breath.

Feel your body in its entirety,

In its beauty,

And in its perfect imperfection.

Let the energy flowing through you now be the anchor for your day or night.

With the next in-breath,

Slowly become aware of your body's movements.

When ready,

Start to move slowly your toes,

Your fingers,

Sense the smells around you.

Become aware of the sweet noises of your surroundings.

Is everyone ready?

And with self-kindness,

Gently open your eyes and awaken all your senses.

You have arrived.

I am grateful to have shared this moment with you.

I wish you peace,

Calm,

And joy in your day.
