Welcome to your five minute mantra meditation to connect with yourself.
Thank you for finding this moment right now in your day and doing something good for your well-being.
During these uncertain times,
It's important to be kind to yourself and set aside some time for you.
So I'd like you to begin by finding a comfortable seated position on the floor with your knees crossed or on a chair with your feet firmly planted on the ground.
Please gently close your eyes.
Keep your awareness lightly and gently on your breath.
Inhale and exhale.
Continue to breathe slowly and gently,
Stomach fully expanding on every inhale while your chest remains calm and stomach retracting on every exhale.
Let us gently introduce today's Sanskrit mantra,
Repeating it mentally and allowing it to flow with effortless ease.
As you observe your breath on the inhale,
Mentally say to yourself,
So.
And as you exhale,
Mentally say hum.
This translates to I am that.
You may have thoughts,
Feelings,
Emotions or memories from childhood come up.
That's OK.
Let whatever happens happen.
Just keep mentally repeating.
So.
Hum.
So.
Hum.
So.
Hum.
Now on your own.
On the in breath.
So.
On the out breath.
Hum.
Please continue with your meditation.
I'll mind the time and at the end you'll hear me ring a soft bell to indicate it's time to release the mantra.
So.
Hum.
Hum.
Hum.
Hum.
Hum.
Hum.
It's time to release the mantra.
Please bring your awareness back into your body.
Take a moment to rest.
Inhaling.
And exhaling.
Slowly.
And deeply.
Thank you for being here with me today.
Thank you for breathing with me.
When you feel ready.
Gently open your eyes.
Have a beautiful rest of your day.
Keep growing and keep loving.
Namaste.
