Eating healthier and with more purpose.

Hello,

Welcome.

Welcome to the practice of doing nothing.

I'm glad that you're here.

Take a moment to settle in,

Finding a comfortable and quiet place for yourself.

Limiting distractions as much as possible.

Making any adjustments to the body that feel good as you move your way into stillness.

And closing the eyes and dropping in.

How am I doing right now?

In this moment?

Can I be interested in my feelings?

In this moment?

Without analyzing or judging or trying to change my feelings.

Simply being with them.

Being aware of them.

Connecting with your breath.

Noticing the mind.

What's going on up there?

What am I thinking about?

And thanking the mind for all that it does.

It imagines,

It plans,

Figures out.

The mind is a big part of me.

But just like anything else,

The thinking mind needs a rest.

And I can practice resting my mind.

Connecting with the breath.

And setting the thoughts aside.

Feeling the whole body.

Active and awake.

Strong and at ease.

Continuing to experience this moment.

Observing them as they pass by.

Flowing with the breath.

And asking myself,

How important is the body?

This vessel that I carry around with me everywhere that I go.

How important is it to me to take care of my body as best as I can?

And what I put inside of me has a lot to do with the functioning of my body,

How I feel.

Taking a moment to connect with food.

Delicious food.

All the varieties.

The abundance.

That I've been able to experience.

All the flavors.

All the incredible meals.

What a gift.

And I ask myself,

What's a healthy relationship with food?

What's a healthy relationship with pleasure?

How much?

If I'm taking care of myself,

What's the right amount of pleasure for me?

And when I eat too much,

How do I feel?

How do I function?

And perhaps I'm just too busy.

So if you would like,

Setting an intention in this moment to improve your relationship with food,

With eating.

To find the right balance.

Enjoying the taste,

Not missing out.

But knowing when I've had enough.

And remembering that the longing is such an important part.

To feel hungry.

To appreciate water.

To appreciate the breath.

To appreciate the hunger.

Connecting with the breath again.

Feeling the whole body.

Accepting the moment.

Accepting myself for wherever I'm at.

Know that you're perfectly in the right place.

Everything has led you to this moment.

And you get to decide how you want to move forward.

Every moment to moment.

Many,

Many opportunities to try again.

Make it a game,

A play.

Nothing to take too seriously.

I'm trying.

I eat too much,

Okay?

I held back.

Maybe I would have really enjoyed that one treat.

Who's to say?

Who gets to decide?

I do.

I get to decide for me.

And you get to decide for me.

And I get to decide for you.

Checking in on the breath.

Feeling relaxed and strong.

Grateful for this moment,

This opportunity.

Feeling the whole body.

I am so grateful for you,

Body.

For all that you do,

You allow me to experience.

I will try to take even better care of you.

You are so important to me.

If you would like,

You can place the bell.

Palms of your hands over your eyes.

Bathing in darkness.

Going a bit deeper.

That place of nothing.

The core,

The source within you.

Where no thoughts exist.

Thanking yourself for taking the time to do this practice.

For having the courage to go inside and look.

To analyze myself with love as a game for growth.

And perhaps more and more,

You will find to discover that doing nothing is the most important thing that you can do.

And when that time comes,

You are home.
