In this 18-minute meditation, we cultivate love and acceptance for our body, breath, and mind. We then open ourselves up to this moment and ourselves as being enough. This is a mindfulness practice. It can be practiced seated or lying down. Ohm Shanti.

Okay,

Let's begin.

Namaste.

Settle the body into a comfortable position.

Honour the needs of your body.

Palms down.

If you're seated,

Touching the legs.

If you're laying down,

Perhaps on the abdomen.

Find rest in the eyeballs.

Loosen the jaw and tongue.

The vocal cords.

Throat.

Release the shoulders,

The arms and hands.

The ribs,

The waist.

Your pelvis.

Your hips.

Your legs.

Your feet.

Find more release in the whole body.

More acceptance.

Ask less of your body.

Gift your whole body an attention that is compassionate.

Perhaps even loving.

So much life happens,

Has been experienced.

Within your skin.

So much figured out for you.

The inner workings of the many systems of your body.

Serving every moment.

So take care of your body right now.

With an attention of love.

Highlight the breath.

Gift your breath.

The same honour.

An attention that doesn't demand any other configuration.

Remove any obstacles around the breath.

Any holding in the neck.

The throat.

Any grip in the shoulders or abdomen.

Re-release the face and see behind your closed lids.

The screen of your mind.

And offer your mind compassion.

There's nothing wrong with the thoughts.

Even those that create some struggle.

They still serve.

So instead of resisting.

Pretending discord doesn't exist.

Offer your mind compassion.

Just a simple observation without judgement.

Without shame.

Continue with that soft gaze.

Behind your closed lids.

Welcome the breath and the body's sensations.

What else is here?

When you accept the body.

Give love to the body,

The breath.

And mind.

What else is here?

What is revealed?

Continue to rest.

And listen.

Gifting yourself this time.

Simply be.

To listen.

Dissolve any conversation that you're having.

Allowing for this moment to be enough.

Yourself.

This breath and that breath.

Deliberate breath in and out.

And the hands together and rub the palms.

Briskly.

And then cup the palms over the eyes.

Breath in and out.

Hands together and bow your chin in service to your practice.

To clear seeing.

Clear being.

Namaste.
