Hello beautiful souls.

I hope this podcast finds your heart light and bright,

And if not,

I hope that you will feel a sense of ease and lightness by the time you reach the end of this recording.

Today I want to talk to you about moving from cope to hope.

Recently I've been self-observing a lot,

And noticing how many of my habits in my past,

And some that I still carry today,

Come from my desire to cope,

My good intention to make my suffering,

My pain,

My dis-ease lighter.

And whether that habit may have been eating sugar,

Alcohol,

Or playing the blame game with others in my life.

Maybe taking a deep breath,

Being gentle with myself,

And recognizing that my intention was good.

My intention was to find my self-worth,

My value,

And my comfort.

But now recognizing that I don't need those things any longer,

I can choose hope.

I can have this same intention,

But find a better tool to support that intention.

And though cope sometimes may be the only tool available,

Let us recognize it and be aware of our choice.

Because at the end of the day,

Awareness is the real key to finding peace,

Resolve,

And enough coherence in our existence to actually live the life we want.

So after we've taken that deep breath,

We move to hope.

And what does hope look like?

Hope is acknowledging that we are responsible for our feelings,

That we are responsible for our choices.

And the beauty of that acknowledgement is that we can change it all at any moment with just a little hope,

A little belief in our highest version.

Many times in my lives on TikTok,

We have a collective moment for gratitude because it shifts our attitude into that bright acceptance of all the abundance we have.

At the same time,

It allows us to shift our personal energy towards the tool of hope.

We're looking towards the brightness that we can create.

And so instead of choosing to make those feelings lighter from the outside in,

Which is what coping is,

We transform our lives from the inside out with hope and positive thoughts,

Intentions and affirmations.

My hope for you,

Dear one,

Is that you find that true beauty within yourself,

That you give it a warm embrace and that you choose hope.

So let's take a moment for hope this morning.

As a Tong Lin blessing,

And this is one I use often for myself and for the collective.

May we be free of suffering and the root of all suffering.

And may we know happiness and the root of all happiness.

And I'm going to add to that this morning.

May you know your highest version,

Your highest vibration,

And set the intention to move into your hope.

Because the third step in this sequence,

The first is cope.

The second hope.

The third is being.

And that's when things get really interesting.

When you've transformed that discomfort into full comfort and empowerment into your beautiful,

Wonderful self actualized from the inside out.

Thank you for joining me this morning,

Dear ones.

Be gentle with yourself and be kind.

And if you've enjoyed the music playing in the background here,

I just released a single on January 14th.

This is flow.

There are two tracks.

One is a poetic resonance meditation meant to create a space for you to connect to your highest self.

The second track is this,

The guitar only version,

The instrumental with the same intention.

So whatever resonates most deeply with you,

I hope that you will check it out and share it.

But most importantly,

I hope that in one way or another,

You find yourself in your own personal flow.

May our personal healing be a part of the collective healing,

Bringing us all closer to wholeness and a brighter day.

That's Love at Night.
