One of the most simple awareness practices that you could ever find is simply tuning in to this moment in time.

Simply being present,

Alive,

Fully immersed in now.

To make it simpler than that,

What I want you to do is just,

I want you to notice some things.

So for example,

Right now when you're sitting or standing,

I simply want you to notice your body coming in contact with the earth.

When you're standing,

Feel the soles of your feet pressing down into the ground.

Feel the earth pressing back up into your feet.

If you're sitting,

Notice the chair,

How it supports your body,

How your body melds into the chair.

Without judgment,

Just notice your contact with the earth.

Simple huh?

The most interesting thing was that a moment ago,

The earth did not exist,

The chair did not exist,

The ground did not exist.

What you notice,

What you focus on,

What you put your attention on grows.

This is a crucial thing when it comes to meditation,

When it comes to mindfulness.

If you're noticing how many thoughts you have,

That's what grows.

If you notice something else that we'll move on to next,

Then that grows.

So your awareness is created,

What you focus on grows.

So next what I want you to do is notice the space where your heart is.

Notice the feeling,

The general area,

The sense of your heart,

The organ,

The energy.

Just sit with it,

Notice what it's like.

Super simple.

Now notice all the sounds in your environment.

Tune into my voice,

But take it wider.

Notice the cars,

The sounds of nature,

The wind,

The birds,

The people.

Sit right in the middle of this rainbow of sound,

Just notice.

Super simple.

Now if you like to do something different,

Notice the space around you.

Notice everything that's not something.

Just being gently aware,

Attentive,

Noticing the quality of the space in the room,

In the open air,

All about you.

Now notice that this moment is happening.

Notice that this moment is going on.

Notice that now is happening.

It requires zero effort.

It needs nothing from you.

Do nothing at all.

Just simply sit,

Notice,

Be with it.

All is well here.

There is no strain,

No struggle.

It's just quiet,

Silent,

Inner peace,

No matter what your environment's like.

And it's something you can always return to.

And that's the key.

Whenever you notice,

Now is here.

Whenever you remember,

Here it is.

It never left you.

You left it.

You forgot.

You fell asleep.

No deal.

When you wake up,

When you become conscious,

When you become aware again,

Simply tune into this experience of now,

That this moment is filled with your presence,

Is filled with your sense of being.

Nothing can touch it.

It is like the wide open sky.

It is like the air.

Doesn't matter how much paint you throw at it,

It will never be stained.

It is completely pure,

Completely untouched by a past moment,

Completely independent of the future.

This presence is you.

This presence is you.

Come to know this.

This is the one part of you that never changes,

Never goes anywhere,

Never dies.

This is the underlying reality to your life.

The more you get to know it,

The more you live from it,

The more life blossoms in the most amazing ways.

The more stress and struggle and overwhelm and negativity just shrivel and die.

This is it.

You already have everything that you need.

You are everything that you want.

It is just a case of stopping and tuning into it.

The more you do that,

The more real it becomes,

The more permanent it becomes.

Eyes open,

Eyes closed,

Inactivity,

Sitting,

Meditating.

This is it.

Now all is well.

All is well.

Excellent.

Enjoy.

Thank you. That's the key for me: Presence is who we are. Being aware is what we need. Being present in the now, in our Sacred Place that is ourselves. All is well.

This is one of those meditations that is worth doing again and again every so often, because it’s ideas are so important, but are easily taken for granted in our busy daily lives! thank you!!! 🌺🙏🌺
