Lie back into a comfortable position,

Breathing in a steady,

Deep breath through your nose and then exhaling strongly through your mouth with an audible sigh.

Allow your eyes to gently close.

Make sure you are warm and as comfortable as possible as you are about to embark on a journey.

Take another in-breath through your nose,

Hearing the words,

I am,

As you inhale.

Hearing the word,

Ready,

On the exhale.

If you are not already lying on your bed,

Picture in your mind's eye that you are.

With each exhale,

You feel more and more relaxed as you sink into your mattress,

Which holds and supports you as if you were as light as a feather.

After a moment,

You notice that your bed has begun to gently rock back and forth.

This swaying motion lulls you into a deep calmness.

You begin to feel your face warming.

You realize that it's the sun shining down on you.

You can feel a slight breeze in your hair.

You smell the scent of jasmine and eucalyptus filling up your senses,

Softening your heart.

You and your bed are no longer in your bedroom.

You are now floating in the middle of a crystal blue lake on a warm,

Clear day.

As your bed gently drifts upon the lake,

You look up and notice the dance of the sunlight as it shines through the treetops.

You have no other place to be,

Nothing that needs to be done.

Only this moment calls to you now,

And you joyfully accept it.

As you continue to float along,

You notice that you're passing an area where there are hundreds of flowers,

All kinds of varieties,

Growing under a tall oak tree.

As you pass a sea of red roses,

You can feel the color red fill up your entire body.

Red is the color of strength,

Love,

And vitality.

You breathe in the scent and the virtues of the color red.

Strength,

Love,

And vitality fill up your senses.

You think of all the ways in your life where you could use more strength,

And you let this newfound strength wash over you.

You float past the red roses and come across another area where the most lovely orange poppies sway together in the breeze.

Orange is the color of creativity.

You breathe in the color orange,

Filling up every pore of your body with creativity,

From the bottom of your toes to the top of your head.

The power of creativity rises up inside of you.

Next to the orange poppies,

There's a collection of bright yellow daisies.

Yellow is the color of joy and happiness.

You immediately feel yourself being bathed from within with the color yellow,

As if the sun itself was shining from inside of your belly,

Filling you with joy and happiness.

Continuing to glide on the lake,

You pass the daisies and discover an area full of tall,

Green blades of grass.

You imagine yourself napping,

Surrounded by the tall,

Green blades of grass.

Green is the color of growth and harmony.

You are lovingly surrounded by the color green,

Creating a sense of harmony within you.

You continue to glide peacefully on your floating bed and soon approach hundreds of blue morning glory flowers.

Blue is the color of trust,

Wisdom,

And confidence.

You breathe in the color blue and can see and feel the color blue swirling inside of you,

Down your arm,

Down your legs,

In your back,

Torso,

Shoulders.

The color blue fills up your heart,

Creating an experience of confidence,

Wisdom,

And trust in yourself.

Up ahead,

You become aware of a beautiful bluebird in midair.

Your bed begins to slowly follow the bluebird as she leads you home.

On the way back,

You remind yourself of the flowers and the energy they instilled in you.

You have memories of past pleasant moments that you've experienced in nature,

And you make a point to remind yourself that this feeling is always there for you,

Inside of you.

This tranquility you've experienced on the lake is always within you whenever you need it.

You can tap into this peace.

It is always present.

When you feel ready,

Begin to become aware of your body,

Arriving back to your room,

Home,

The here and now.

Take your time coming back and take a moment to congratulate yourself for taking this time to connect with your heart and your inner peace.

When you are ready,

Open your eyes.

You are awake.

Excellent visualization. I agree it was a bit fast and would have liked a bit more time with each colour but it was lovely as is. Great way to start the day.
