So begin just noticing what it is you're resting on.
What's underneath you?
And notice where you're having contact with that,
Which part of your body.
Noticing if it's comfortable or if you need to shift in any way.
And allow yourself to feel the support of what's under you.
So if you're in a chair,
Become aware of the chair and how the chair is supporting you and how that chair is itself being supported by the floor and the joists all the way to the earth.
And in reality,
You are being supported by the entire earth.
So really let yourself feel the entire earth,
The solid earth,
The soft earth is supporting you and you can rest into that support fully.
She's got you.
You can rest.
Notice if any parts of your body feel tense or tight.
Just noticing and inviting each part of your body.
If it's ready,
It can relax.
It's just for these few moments,
You're being supported by the earth and there's nothing else you need to do.
What a joy.
If it feels comfortable,
You can notice that you're breathing.
Feel the inhale and feel the exhale.
And if that's not comfortable,
You can notice the sounds in the room instead or stay with the support that's underneath you.
So notice for yourself what allows you to be present.
What supports you being present in this moment?
And now just imagining your path right there in front of you,
The path to your authentic life or the path of your authentic life.
And notice as you consider your path,
If you feel at all nervous about it or excited about it.
If there's something that holds you back,
No judgment but just noticing.
Your path right as close as your feet.
Let yourself take that in.
No distance between you and your authentic path.
In fact,
You may be on the authentic path already.
