Like all vacations, our practice is stepping away from our suffering in order to make space to hold our suffering, never a permanent escape. In order to transform suffering we must learn how to experience joy. This meditation guides us to go on a “mini vacation” from our problems. With each sound of the bell throughout the meditation, Annie invites us to connect the breath with our attention on nourishing thoughts, allowing us to settle into joy and happiness.
