Hello beautiful soul and welcome to this meditation to calm the nervous system.
So finding a comfortable position and just grounding into the space,
Feeling the points of contact of your body on the surface that you've chosen to sit on.
And if you feel comfortable to close the eyes then closing the eyes down or if it doesn't feel good to close the eyes you can always lower the gaze to the floor.
Just checking in,
Seeing how you feel without judgment,
Just bringing awareness to the body.
Noticing if there are any points of tension.
Noticing how your energy feels in this moment.
And finally noticing how the breath feels.
I invite you to start taking some deeper breaths in and out through the nostrils,
Allowing the breath to travel down to the belly.
And we'll take some cleansing breaths together.
So we'll inhale nice deep breaths,
Filling up the whole body,
Filling up the lungs,
The belly,
The chest and the upper chest.
And then we'll sigh the breath out of the mouth,
Moving it into a nice long slow exhale.
Okay so exhaling everything to begin.
And when you're ready taking a nice deep in-breath,
Filling up.
And when you're ready releasing out the mouth into a nice slow exhale.
Two more breaths just like that.
Nice deep inhale,
Filling all the way up to the top.
Taking a slight pause and then sighing out the exhale,
Moving it into a nice long blowing out of the breath.
Final time together.
Nice deep long inhale.
Deepest breath you've taken today.
And when you're ready releasing the breath completely.
Allowing your breath to come back to its natural rhythm in and out of the nostrils if possible.
And just notice the space within.
Noticing if you are running away or attaching to any thoughts without judgment.
Just gently guiding your awareness back to you the space within.
Know that you are whole.
In this moment there is nothing to do.
You are enough.
There is nowhere to go.
No one to be but here with yourself.
Focusing on the breath once more.
When you feel ready you can slowly make your way back into your physical space.
Thank you for taking the time to have a nervous system reset.
I hope you have a beautiful rest of your day.
Thank you.
