Hello,

My name is Angela Rose and I am a self-love coach and meditation guide.

And today's topic is stepping into your queendom.

So I pulled a card for you out of my self-awareness card deck and I'll just read you the card here.

It says,

You were born for greatness.

Quit apologizing for your light.

Now is your time to fully express and shine your light.

I want to share with you a little personal story of mine and let me know if this resonates with you.

So when I was younger,

Maybe around the age of 12,

Let's say,

I found out that I had some native American heritage in my family.

And I felt so proud of this because I've always connected to the native American culture and it always fascinated me.

And so when I found this out,

I made this Indian headband and if you can picture it,

So it's this,

It was this thick leather band and I wish I had it.

It was a stick leather band that went around my head like a crown.

And it had these leather pieces that flowed down just one of the sides and these big thick beads,

Like not the cute little dainty ones,

The pretty ones.

It was like the bigger,

Thicker beads.

And I went into the grocery store with my dad because that's usually what we did on a Friday night to go pick out a movie at the time.

And I remember wearing this big thick gaudy headband that I made,

Feeling so proud and thinking,

I know people around here probably think I'm a dork,

But I don't care because I want everyone to feel this way.

And I remember that thought so clearly that I wore it so proud because I wanted everyone to feel how I was feeling in my body.

I felt so confident in myself.

I felt so sure of myself,

So free.

And that's the feeling most of us as adults want to come back home to,

Right?

Maybe you're there right now.

Maybe you're wanting to feel that freedom,

That confidence,

That empowerment,

That sureness.

There's nothing worse than feeling anxiety or feeling unsure about something.

A lot of my unsureness throughout the years has come from me not wanting to hurt other people,

Has come from me wanting to be the good girl,

Wanting to be the protector,

The savior of everyone,

My children,

My family,

My friends,

Whoever I was dating at the time.

I wanted everyone to feel loved because inside of me was this missing piece that I never quite ever felt,

This unconditional love for myself.

There was a gap there because when we're kids,

We're sure of ourselves,

We're confident.

And then we come across meaningful people that are just doing the best they can,

That maybe they don't meet our needs.

Maybe we're with partners that don't meet our needs or our parents or family or friends,

Coworkers.

And we almost start to become the chameleons,

Wanting to blend in,

Feeling like we're too much or not enough.

There's been times in my life and reflecting that I felt too much,

Like too sensitive or just not enough.

But that was a feeling that I had within myself.

Maybe you can relate to this.

So how do we get back to that feeling?

And maybe you've never felt it before,

Which is okay.

I'm glad you're here with me.

I started to do this practice of coming back home to my body.

And I've learned so many very helpful tools over the years,

Such as meditation,

Tapping,

Just doing different mindfulness exercises.

There's so many,

Yoga.

But there was still this missing piece of wanting to feel empowered and confident and sure of myself,

But not ever really feeling it.

And so there's been a lot of talk recently and buzz around feminine embodiment and what the heck does that even mean?

So briefly,

It is a practice,

An embodiment practice to embody how we want to feel and to simple it up here so you know what I'm talking about.

So you can imagine it.

It's pretty much just moving your body with music.

That's really all there is.

And there's no right or wrong way to do it.

And that's for another episode.

But today's episode is how to step into your queendom or your kingdom if you're a man.

And that's to come back home to you.

You were born for greatness,

And you are whole,

Just as you are.

And wherever you are,

You can just ground yourself by placing both feet on the floor,

Pulling your shoulders down and back,

Closing your eyes,

Taking three deep breaths,

Slowing down your breath.

When we allow ourselves to feel how we feel,

When we allow the sadness,

The grief,

The embarrassment,

When we allow all those feelings,

When we acknowledge them and allow them to move through us,

It's amazing what we're left with.

And that's ourself.

This feeling,

These really uncomfortable feelings is uncomfortable.

But there's nothing wrong with you,

And you are okay.

It's important to hear this because we don't hear it often that you are okay,

Just as you are right now.

And the more we step into who we are,

The deeper we allow ourselves to go with ourself,

The deeper relationships we will have.

I believe that relationships help shape us.

We don't have to be perfect to enter a relationship because we grow through relationships.

But the deeper we allow ourself to go within and to feel how we feel,

Acknowledge how we feel,

Speak our desires,

Speak our needs,

The more we will get those needs met.

The deeper conversations we have with ourself equal deeper conversations with others,

That connection that we all desire.

So I invite you to play with this idea of pleasure for you.

So asking yourself,

What in this moment will bring me pleasure?

Last night,

I was home by myself and because my kids are with their dad this week,

And I spent half of my life without them and half of my life with them because we do 50-50 like many people out there.

And I was by myself and I thought,

You know,

I could make a grilled cheese sandwich.

I could save money.

I could eat something that I have,

But it didn't seem very pleasurable.

And I decided,

You know what,

I'm going to order sushi because if I had a partner here,

That's what I would want to do.

So I did it.

And it was wonderful.

So step into your pleasure.

Ask yourself,

What do you need right now?

What would feel good?

And not apologize for it.

Someone once told me recently,

Your needs are like your blood type.

They're not right or wrong.

It just is what it is.

And you deserve to have those needs met.

And it's a beautiful thing when we can get our needs met and know how to do that.

By speaking our voice in a kind way,

We can have our needs met by people who want to meet them,

Because maybe they're looking for the same thing.

And this is a discovery.

This is a journey.

So we're not going to maybe know the answer to everything overnight and we're not supposed to.

We're supposed to enjoy this unfolding of life.

So having so much grace and patience with yourself is key.

As you are stepping into your queendom or your kingdom.

But you are not here to apologize for your light.

Now is the time if you are listening to this.

Now is your time you are ready to fully express and shine your light and to not be a chameleon,

But to stand out,

Which is a very vulnerable feeling.

But being vulnerable will open you up to this golden light,

To more to what you're seeking,

What you're desiring,

What you're longing for.

So give yourself the gift of pleasure,

Of asking yourself what you need,

Of meeting your needs,

Because everyone is a reflection of us.

Because I'm going through this process of meeting different people in my life.

The people that I really get excited about.

They are a reflection of me.

The relationships that I'm having where it's deep and spiritual and fun and light and all the things that I love.

That is within them,

But it's also within me.

I no longer have these superficial relationships.

So I invite you to play with this in your everyday routine.

Is this making me fulfilled right now in this moment?

How can I add to this?

What do I need?

Do I want to go deeper in conversation?

Do I want to have fun?

Do I want to be playful?

Do I want to cry?

Do I want to be silly?

So asking yourself,

Does this bring me pleasure?

I hope this finds you well.

I am here if you would like support in discovering yourself and finding clarity in your life.

I'm here if you want someone to hold your hand with you and walk side by side with you and someone that believes in you.

Because I do.

From the bottom of my heart,

I do.

Because I have been there myself.

And it's an ever unfolding journey and we are in this together.

Thank you for listening.

I believe in you and keep shining.

God bless.
