Hello friend,

Are you ready to enter a state of relaxation?

Before we can relax our mind,

We have to relax our body.

Get yourself in a comfortable position,

Straighten your back so you have a strong grounding to your chair and feet.

Take a moment here to find and feel your grounding,

Your physical connection to the surface of the earth.

Even if you're in your home,

Your home is grounded to the earth so you are too.

Roll your shoulders back,

Open your chest,

Allow the space around you to naturally flow.

Opening your chest allows the energy surrounding us to be more accessible to our heart centre.

Spend a moment here to see if you can feel the energy around you.

If you haven't already,

Close your eyes.

Make any final adjustments so that you are feeling comfortable.

We are going to do a 5 second inhale through the nose and a 5 second exhale out of the mouth.

Focus on the moment between the inhale and exhale and between each breath.

Let's begin.

Inhale 2,

3,

4,

5,

Pause for a beat and exhale 2,

3,

4,

5,

Pause for a moment.

Inhale again 2,

Continue to breathe at your own pace.

Deep breathing creates space within us.

Observe your body,

Feel a calmness within you.

If you don't feel it,

That's okay.

Continue to breathe deeply.

Don't fight it,

Invite it within you.

Peace and calmness is something we cannot force.

We invite them in when we surrender our body and mind to the present.

Surrender yourself to this moment.

Go back to your normal breathing pattern and become aware of your thoughts.

Are you thinking right now?

It's okay if you are.

Thank your thoughts and let it pass.

If you are finding it hard to let go of your thoughts,

Take a 5 second inhale and exhale.

Focus on every second and be present in those breaths.

Breathing invites the life force that keeps all living things alive.

It connects us to Mother Nature.

When you breathe,

See if you can tap into that life force.

I'm going to go silent for a minute to give you space to rest in your relaxation.

Explore the present in the silence.

See if more peace and joy exist there.

If you enter thoughts,

That's okay.

Give thanks to your thoughts and let them go and bring your awareness back to your own breath.

We're going to do another round of deep breathing.

As you breathe,

Sink deeper into your relaxation.

Sink deeper into your peace and presence.

Let's begin.

Inhale,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Pause for a beat and exhale,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Pause for a moment.

Inhale again,

Two,

Three,

Pause and exhale,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Pause.

Inhale,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Pause and exhale,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

I'm going to give you another minute to enjoy the moment.

Relax and be.

Relax and be.

Relax and be.

Put your hands on your hearts.

Feel your heart beating.

Give thanks to your heart.

You don't have to do anything and your heart is working tirelessly to provide for you.

Offer love to yourself.

As you feel each heart beat,

Feel the love for yourself being pumped through you.

Rest your hands back into your lap.

Take an inhale through the nose,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five and exhale through the mouth,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Let go of any thoughts or feelings you have.

Find the grounding you had at the beginning of this meditation.

Feel the connection to the earth through your chevron feet.

Feel it go all along your spine.

Once you have found your connection,

Open your eyes.

Thanks for spending time with me.

I look forward to our next session.

Goodbye.
