In this mindfulness meditation we will shower our amazing bodies with love and appreciation. We begin by tuning into our breath and noticing how wonderful it is that our bodies breathes for us both consciously and unconsciously. We then mindfully scan the body and send our loving breath throughout the body.

So now we're going to spend some time in meditation,

Connecting with the experience of your body in this moment,

Inviting relaxation into the body,

Showing love and appreciation for your beautiful body.

So once again,

Find a comfortable position and feel the contact between your body and the surface beneath you and allow your body to relax fully into that support and you can begin by bringing your attention to your breath in this moment and just start to notice the sensations you feel as your breath moves gently in and out of your body.

You can also notice the effect of your breath on your body.

Focusing on your breath is likely causing a more relaxed state to emerge in the body and now take a moment to appreciate being in your body,

Breathing,

Experiencing what it is to tune into a process that mostly happens without your conscious awareness.

Your body breathes for you all day long.

You are able to consciously tune into that sensation and you're able to change your breath anytime you want,

Which is pretty remarkable.

So go ahead and celebrate that beautiful connection of breath,

Body,

And mind and now we're going to take some time to mindfully scan your body and send your loving breath and appreciation to all parts of your body.

So starting with the tips of your toes,

Send your loving breath all the way down to your toes,

Continuing up through your ankles and your calves.

Send your loving breath all the way to your lower legs and now send your loving breath of appreciation to your knees and to your upper legs and finally send your loving breath of appreciation to the entirety of both of your legs,

All parts of them and now send your loving breath to the area where your legs meet in your hips and in your pelvis,

Continuing into your belly and abdomen.

Send your loving breath to each and every organ and all of the muscles of your core that surround and lovingly protect all your vital systems.

Send your loving breath to your chest and your upper back.

Send your loving breath to your breath itself,

Produced in your lungs,

Continuing up into your neck and your shoulders.

Send your loving breath across your shoulders and then down each arm,

Through your upper arm,

Down your lower arm,

All the way out into your hands and your fingers and now feel your loving breath,

Your breath of body appreciation,

Traveling back up your arms to your shoulders and breathe your loving breath into your neck and up through your face and your ears.

Relax and breathe your loving breath all the way up to the top of your head.

Just be in your body breathing,

Appreciating each breath,

Sending loving breath and loving appreciation throughout your entire body,

Leaning into love and appreciation for your body and all that it does and all that it is.

Your body is really just the universe in physical expression.

You are air with every breath you take.

You are the minerals of the earth.

You are the water that sustains life.

You are the fire,

All your electrical impulses dancing throughout your body.

Your body is a wonder.

Your body is the universe.

So bask in that and feel loving appreciation for your beautiful body and now as we come to the end of this body awareness and appreciation meditation,

Take a moment to once again thank yourself for practicing meditation,

Doing this act of self-care for your body,

Focusing on your body with loving appreciation,

Being aware of your body and all that it is and all that it does and as you feel ready,

You can invite some gentle movement into the body and whenever you're ready,

You can open your eyes.
