This particular talk is how to create intentions at work.
It could be useful for you to grab a journal and reflect on the talking points,
Or maybe today you just want to reflect in your mind.
Either way,
Take a moment to get settled in and make yourself comfortable in your chair.
And as you're making any last adjustments,
Just note that we will be connecting to an abundance mindset and to create intentions for the day and your time ahead.
Start by taking a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in and release it through the mouth.
One more time.
Long,
Slow,
Deep breath in,
Audible exhale,
Release.
Recall what it feels like when you are your best self at work.
In a few words,
Think about what that means to you.
Your best self might look like a feeling or emotion that you want to have,
Or how you might show up to resolve conflicts or resolutions or use your best creativity.
Next,
Consider what at work are you grateful for?
What at work are you grateful for?
Gratitude and appreciation can come from the simplest things,
So we don't need to overcomplicate or create too big of a picture for this moment.
Next,
Consider who are you grateful for at work?
This might be immediate coworkers or people that you might not even engage with day to day,
But make your life a little bit easier.
This might be different clients or vendors that you work with.
Who are you grateful for at work?
What would you like to see unfold today?
You don't need to think too far in advance.
Just for today,
What would you like to see unfold?
Imagine your work relationships,
Such as with peers,
Management,
Clients,
And vendors.
Is there anything you would like to see improved or changed?
There's always small rooms for improvement in how we relate to others.
Next,
Consider your communication patterns.
How do you share your ideas?
Do you need assistance using your voice?
Perhaps you need to be less reactive or judgmental or know when to pause and allow others to share.
Considering your communication patterns,
How might they use adjustment so that you can have the best intentions?
Imagine how you spend your time at work versus what are your job responsibilities.
Is there anything you would like to cultivate differently?
Maybe to be more creative,
To have more simplification and ease.
Maybe you want something completely different or perhaps more or even less responsibility.
Imagine how you spend this time day by day and how you might want to cultivate your time at work differently.
Now from the prompts of either what you would like to see unfold,
How your relationships might improve,
How your communication could change,
Or your job responsibilities,
Select one intention.
Picture in your mind how a change in this area would make you feel.
When you have that vision and feeling in your mind,
Go ahead and send it down to the heart space and plant that feeling there.
And now you can release it,
Letting go of the outcome and knowing that that intention is planted in the heart.
Now for a few moments,
Turn inwards.
If it's comfortable for you,
Close your eyes and follow your breath as it goes in and out of the nose.
And when you notice that your mind has drifted,
Return your awareness back to the breath.
Just practice with your breath for a few moments and the guide of my voice will send you back.
With your eyes still closed,
You can release the breath.
Take a moment to notice how you feel.
Do you feel more relaxed,
Calmer,
Maybe rejuvenated by your intention?
Go ahead and blink open your eyes.
I wish you a purposeful day.
