This meditation is for you to remember the strength and courage that lies within you when you are experiencing a low.

Remember this is the very ebb and flow of life,

The highs and lows.

Sometimes courage isn't a great feat but getting up every day,

Finding the courage to get back up again and again and again to overcome and overcome and overcome to get past the difficult moments and still find the will to continue.

Remember that you have a place here in this world and that you have the power to enact positive change.

If you need rest to recoup and rest again if that is what you need then you can have these next few moments to do so.

To begin this meditation settle into a position that you are comfortable in.

This could be seated or lying down.

If lying down try to lie down in savasana position with your feet hip width apart and hands to the side of your body.

If seated you might like to sit on a cushion or a chair.

To begin with let yourself be present to this very moment.

Bring your attention to your breath.

Take a deep full breath in,

Filling your lungs and belly with air.

Exhale out,

Letting go and releasing.

Do this with my guidance in your own pace and own time.

We'll do this together 15 more times.

Take a deep full breath in and exhale out,

Releasing and letting go.

Take a deep full breath in,

Filling your lungs with fresh air.

Exhale out,

Releasing and letting go.

Take a deep full breath in,

Exhale out,

Releasing and letting go.

A deep breath in,

Filling your lungs and belly with air and exhale out,

Releasing and letting go.

A deep full breath in and exhale sighing out.

Take a deep full breath in,

Filling your lungs with air and exhale out,

Releasing.

Take a deep breath in,

Breathing in all that is good and exhale out,

Releasing anything that doesn't serve you.

Take a deep breath in,

Breathing in everything that is good.

Exhale out,

Releasing.

Take a deep breath in,

Inhaling all that is good and exhaling out,

Releasing anything that doesn't serve you.

Letting go.

Take a deep full breath in,

Exhale out,

Sighing out.

Five more breaths.

Take a deep full breath in,

Filling your lungs and belly with air and exhale out.

Take another deep breath in and exhale out,

Sighing all out.

Three more breaths.

Take a deep breath in and exhale,

Sigh it out.

Two more times.

Take a deep breath in,

Breathing in everything that is good.

Exhale,

Sigh it out,

Releasing everything that doesn't serve you from your body.

And one more time,

Take a deep full breath in and exhale,

Sigh it out,

Releasing from your body.

As you breathe out,

Let your whole body relax and soften.

And just notice how you're feeling now.

Continue to breathe in and out normally in your own pace and own time.

As you breathe in,

Bring your attention to your belly again,

Noticing the way your belly moves up and down,

Rising and falling.

And the way the air moves from your nose down your throat to your belly,

From your belly up your throat and out to your nose.

As you breathe in,

Let your breath anchor you to this very moment.

As you continue to release and let go now,

Let your breath bring in new and renewed energy for the next few moments and the new day.

You may now like to place your hand on your chest,

Or you can simply place it on your lap or to the sides of your body.

And take a moment to find the strength within you.

This strength can be from a inner source or any source of strength that you wish.

Trust yourself.

Trust yourself to move into the next moment and day while making the most of each moment.

Think about a source of strength that you can draw upon.

This can be a role model,

Caregiver,

Or even an aspect of nature.

It could be the firmness and steadiness of a tree,

The mighty current ocean,

The wind and waves,

Or a loved one who represents or brings you strength.

Strength is in the small and the big,

The minute and the huge,

In a small action and a big action.

So letting go of all expectations.

Let your breath guide you into bringing you into the new moment or day.

Connecting to your heart,

Drawing upon your inner guidance,

Your own intuition.

Is there an inner voice or any advice from your heart that is guiding you dear one?

What do you need to hear?

What is guiding you forward to where you are meant to be?

Spend a few moments by yourself as you reflect on this,

Breathing in and out with your natural breath,

Gathering all the guidance and well wishes that you need.
