This meditation will first guide you into a relaxed state before offering up morning affirmations for you to resonate with. Once all of the affirmations have been repeated, there will be a few moments of silence where you can focus on your own affirmation. Feel free to use one of the ones offered, or to come up with one that's more relevant to you. At the end of the practice, I will guide you out.

Welcome to your morning affirmation practice.

Let's find a comfortable position.

If you want to lie down,

Try to stay present and awake.

You can come to a seat,

Maybe putting a cushion underneath you to find a little more lift in the pelvis.

Wiggle around a little bit.

We're going to be still for a few minutes.

And when you're ready,

Go ahead and close your eyes if that feels comfortable.

Or you can take a soft gaze at something in front of you.

Start to notice your breath without changing it.

Is it shallow or deep?

Slow?

Quick?

Are you breathing down into your belly or up into your chest?

And now let's take a deep breath together.

So exhaling everything out.

Inhale down as far as you can into your belly,

Up into your ribs,

Up into your chest,

And at the top hold.

Open your mouth,

Exhale it all out.

As we go through these affirmations,

Feel free to simply listen.

Feel free to repeat them in your brain,

In your mind.

Or if you're in a comfortable space where you feel that you can do so,

Feel free to repeat them out loud to yourself.

Take a deep breath and let's begin.

Today I accept what is given with grace.

Today I accept what is given with grace.

Today I take control of my actions.

Today I take control of my actions.

Today I find gratitude in both the small and the large.

Today I find gratitude in both the small and the large.

Today I am willing to learn lessons.

Today I am willing to learn lessons.

Today I seek what I want.

Today I seek what I want.

Today I receive what I deserve.

Today I receive what I deserve.

Today I feel at home in my body.

Today I feel at home in my body.

Today I breathe in deep breaths.

Today I breathe in deep breaths.

Today I move from a place of trust.

Today I move from a place of trust.

Today I say thank you.

Today I say thank you.

Now let's take a few moments of silence.

Maybe one affirmation spoke to you or resonated with you more than others.

Feel free to use that affirmation as a way to ground yourself as we stay quiet and still for the next few moments.

Come back to your breath.

If you're repeating an affirmation,

Let it go.

Start to deepen where you find your breath down into your abdomen again.

Letting it rise all the way up your torso and into your throat.

Until you are filled with so much oxygen that you have to open your mouth and sigh it out.

Do one more huge breath.

Do one more huge breath on your own.

If your eyes are closed,

Slowly blink them open.

Maybe rolling your wrists and your ankles,

Turning your head side to side.

Coming back in your body,

Back into the world.

Take your hand to your heart.

Maybe take both hands to your heart.

May all beings be happy and free.

And may our happiness and freedom contribute to the happiness and freedom of those around.

Thank you for listening and have a wonderful day.

Namaste.
