Let's take a moment to arrive in this space,
Inviting your loving awareness to join you in this space.
Perhaps you would like to imagine yourself walking into this space all over again,
Choosing to leave outside this space anything which is not serving you for your time with yourself.
Whenever you feel ready and whenever your loving awareness meets your physical form which is laying or sitting on the ground right now,
Taking a moment to simply feel how it feels to feel your body in space,
Allowing your loving awareness to travel to the areas in your body where your body is connected to the ground and taking a moment to see how it feels to feel grounded,
Connected to the earth,
Knowing that no matter what arrives in your practice you are grounded,
Supported by the earth and then allowing your loving awareness to travel upwards into the center line,
The midline of your body.
So perhaps for you it is the spinal cord or the spine itself or perhaps it is an imaginary line that runs through the midline of the body between the front and the back of the body and the sides of the body.
Taking a moment to see how it feels to feel centered,
Knowing that no matter what arrives in your practice you are supported and grounded by the earth,
You are centered and balanced through the midline of your body and then allowing your loving awareness to travel to the top of your head,
Perhaps observing any sensations that arise in this area or maybe even a slight connection to the sky above.
So knowing that through your practice you are grounded,
Connected,
Supported,
Centered,
Balanced and attuned,
Whenever you feel ready I'm inviting you this time to invite your loving awareness to rest at any area in your body which is in need for love and nurturing and support right now.
Perhaps it is an old injury,
Perhaps it's as simple as your heart space,
Your hips,
The third eye,
The jaw,
Any area which is in need for love and awareness and nurturing right now and taking a moment to simply rest your loving awareness in this space,
Observing whatever is present right now in this space with love and kindness and compassion.
And perhaps your observation is based on visions and sights,
Perhaps your observation is based on feelings and sensations or perhaps it is based on sounds and voices.
Just simply observing what is present in this space right now for you,
Accepting anything which is present with love and kindness and compassion and care.
Perhaps the sensations are gross,
Perhaps they are subtle,
Perhaps they are pleasant or unpleasant,
There are no rights or wrongs.
We are simply observing and resting loving awareness in this space and see that you are observing the sensations arising,
Perhaps they are even passing away,
Perhaps you can even observe space in between the sensations but see that there is also space around the sensations.
Every sensation that arises is bound to eventually pass away,
Same like a wave arising,
Passing,
Same like our breath arising to pass,
Same like any element in nature,
Trees,
Leaves,
Flowers,
Everything in nature is a part of the law of nature which is impermanence,
Anicca.
And knowing Anicca,
Knowing impermanence on a very deep level gives us equanimity,
Knowing that every sensation is bound to pass away.
We welcome these sensations with love and kindness and compassion so feel free to stay here if you would like to keep resting your loving awareness in this space and if you feel ready for the rest of your day or night perhaps you would like to start to move fingers and toes very very gently and slowly reawakening the edges of your body perhaps you would like to give yourself a little stretch or flutter the eyes to a very soft gaze in whichever way you choose to finish this practice see that you are keeping this loving awareness,
Resting at any areas which are in need for love and awareness and attention and nurturing and the more you come back to this practice the more you will strengthen this muscle of loving awareness of observation I'm wishing you a beautiful continuation of your day or night
