
Walking Meditation - Being Present
Are you ready to walk with me? I sure I am! Where are we going this time? This walking meditation is a follow-up to my other successful walking meditation.. As that was a thrill for your senses, this one will be giving your body and mind exactly what it needs on your way, to be present. Walking with the practice of being present is a great combination for feeling great, happy, and refreshed.. so have fun, and please let me know where we went after your meditation. Hi there,
Welcome my beautiful soul to this walking meditation And I hope you started your day beautiful and you're ready for a great walk today I know I am so take me anywhere you want show me your neighborhood Or maybe the forest or the beach Where ever we go or whatever you're experiencing Please let me know afterwards where we went I would love to hear where we went as a team walking mindfulness So for now let's start walking Have you got your headphones in,
Your walking boots on,
Then let's go!
And then starting now we're taking a couple of big breaths full of gratefulness Just really experiencing the oxygen coming into your lungs fresh and clean And being thankful for that you have the chance to do this That you walking here right now giving yourself this fresh air,
This walk,
This exercise And that you can feel this in your whole body So let's start with that Take a couple of nice inhales and a couple of nice exhales just on your own time While you're walking And so before we go into your other feelings and your other sensations Let's really feel your body first right So breathe,
Inhale and exhale mindfully and with ease And if you need to slow down for this then please do Let's inhale with a breath of fresh clean air Fill your lungs,
Your belly up with cleanliness and freshness of the crispy or maybe warm air Whatever your sensations are,
Feel it,
Really feel it And then hold and let go So take your time for it,
Filling your lungs with the air that's surrounding you And then making your exhale even longer than your inhale,
Mindful and focused Give yourself some time to do this,
Just a couple of times like three times or so And slowly exhale Let go of the old air that was there of the night or the day before So let go and clear your space,
Your body from toxins,
Your mind from toxins And welcoming happiness,
Clearing and love every inhale that you do from here now Do this until you're fully fulfilled with love for this walk,
For this day And that is the state where you will feel the most,
Where you're really,
Really experiencing things So when you feel love and happiness,
That's where you,
That's where the state,
Again where you feel the most So really,
Where you are a sponge for this beautiful energy by taking it all in Taking everything in,
The breath and start feeling it at ease And as for this walking meditation,
I want to ask you to fully commit to being present To being present with your environment,
Where you are walking And so it's okay to let thoughts come in,
But let them go as soon as you realise that thoughts are coming in Because really,
This time is important,
The time to walk and to let your mind pause To give yourself some energy back,
Or maybe refreshing your energy As walking will do that,
It refreshes your energy and,
Or maybe,
You know,
Shift as some might say It shifts your energy,
And again that's also one of the reasons that I am not choosing to have music on the background Because it's because of your environment that your environment will be on that background The sounds of nature,
The sounds of the world,
Humans that may be passed by,
Or the wind,
Animals,
Whatever it is And be okay with that,
Be happy,
You can hear that you are hearing these beautiful things Being grateful that you can experience this,
Being present with your senses,
With your hearing sense So while you are walking now,
Think of a couple of things,
You know,
That you maybe want to refresh your energy Or that you're listening to things on the background and you still hear them while you hear me talk So letting go of thoughts,
It's fine that they come in,
But let them go as soon as you realise Alright,
So let's dive into this present,
Committing to your walk,
Committing to your mind to be present And present what you are seeing,
What you are feeling,
Smelling,
And taking it all in Take it in guys,
Look around you,
Because what do your eyes see?
So again,
Let's look around us,
Shall we?
And that's what I love about my meditations,
And the reviews I get when people went on their walk with me Because I don't know where we are,
So really,
Please describe it to me as I am there right next to you And for yourself,
Describe it in your mind,
Like you're journaling some really beautiful story And to your spirit,
So describe it as you're really seeing it,
You're really looking at it,
You're watching the world Seeing the trees,
Seeing flowers blossom,
Or birds flying by,
Or leaves on the ground And so what are the things around you that make you happy,
That you want to mention to me,
To your spirit,
To your story?
And what are the things that fill your cup,
Describe how they look,
The colours you see,
And the energy it gives you Look around you,
Watch the world,
Describe your story Because really,
My beautiful soul,
While you are walking here,
You are recharging,
You have committed to being present Like these 10,
15 minutes to come,
Or how long your walk is,
They are yours,
This walk is yours And no one can take this walk away from you,
So make the most out of this And so fully emerge in the surroundings,
Into your surroundings,
And take a moment to take this in Isn't this good?
Isn't walking amazing?
Walking is something to enjoy,
Walking is something truly magical And something to be again,
To be so thankful of,
Feeling that freedom,
Feeling those senses Because seeing how your body is doing this so natural,
One step after another,
Like you never knew different The days that you were a baby and still practising the difficult and big milestones,
Are long behind you,
And now you are leaving the energy of steps and your walks everywhere you go So let's leave energy behind on our walk this time,
The energy of kindness and abundance And the sharing of kindness to the trees we see,
The birds we hear,
The people we come across,
Abundance to see,
To feel what we experience We have enough,
There is enough,
And the many things we will come across And in my other walking meditation,
I talk about this,
And if you know it,
You know I go deeper into that And that is the energy of other things,
And while you are walking,
You come across thousands of different things,
Each with their own energy Built with human hands,
Built from the wombs of animals or built from the seeds of Mother Earth,
And you are,
You are your own unique self,
With your own unique energy And nothing and nobody is like you,
Like no tree is the same So put out in this world what you want to share,
And feel other energies too,
See other things The energy of presence,
The energy of you,
You have such a big power inside of you To make changes every day,
To give every day to others,
To be in the moment And so now,
Instead of thinking about you and your future,
I would like you to look around you And as you have the power inside you to change things,
Is there anything you want to change or give to your surrounding now?
Maybe,
Maybe more love that you can give to your surrounding,
Or want to change it into more loving surroundings And would you maybe like to see some more nature?
Or maybe you want to walk here more often and give back to this beautiful surrounding Maybe you can do something for it,
Or just enjoy it more Whatever it is you like to give,
Or change,
Or appreciate it,
Dive in and really see them in front of you And notice the beauty of your surrounding And maybe,
Maybe by the end of this meditation you can tell me where you were and what you loved about it Some of the things that you are seeing now that you really like,
And why you like to walk here,
Or what it does to your body Or maybe perhaps,
Yes,
What you do would like to see,
Like what you want to change,
Or is that possible even?
You know,
And dream,
Do things,
Have,
You know,
Because it's okay,
Have the visualisations It's like,
It's your walk,
It's your mind,
And it doesn't matter if it's possible or not You know,
We can all dream a little bit more,
Don't you think?
Alright,
Are you ready to really go inside yourself?
Being present,
Coming back to your present,
To your mind And how does your spirit feel?
Does it feel happy,
Kind,
Loving?
Check in with it Has it shifted already?
Is your walking working?
Or is the meditation teaching you perhaps something new?
We have the power to change our perspective,
Our mind,
And also the shift of seeing things in a different light Our human brains,
Our minds are so beautiful and powerful,
It is such an amazing thing I always smile if I think about these things,
As beauty is all around us As what are some maybe even of the things that you,
That you find really beautiful That you are intrigued by,
Or that you can just not stop looking at Is it maybe a tree or a beautiful home?
Maybe you even stood still for a moment and was taking it in Let's shift your mind into the beauty and the pure beauty that we see as humans and that we can see as humans And while we are walking here,
We see so many different things We come across so many things we see and maybe Maybe you see things for the first time and you now suddenly notice them And maybe have you noticed anything today you haven't seen before?
And what I like to do as a former photographer,
I still,
And really it's funny because I really still always work in this state of mind I see pictures,
Beautiful photos as I walk,
I see small little things around me that maybe most others don't see As if I have a macro lens in my eye,
As I already see the photo in front of me And this is such a fun practice to do,
And you can even try it to even,
You know,
To be more present Or to visualize yourself in a photographer's mind,
What photos would you make now?
What is beauty for you?
What does it look like?
Or maybe what photo would you hang on the wall?
What do you see?
From like small things like a little lady bug on the grass to bigger things like the view,
The clouds or a sunset Be your own photographer,
Be present,
Really capture life,
Capture life,
Be life and start feeling life How many photos did you make?
How did they look like?
What did you take?
Breathe,
Breathe,
Inhale and exhale,
You're walking Being grateful also for your breath,
For your legs and everything you have been experiencing in this moment The moment you decided to give to yourself,
To your walk,
To your mind Oh God,
You are so awesome,
You are amazingly beautiful and your mind is so worthy of these moments And so really,
I hope the next time you are going on a walk again,
You are present And you are abundant with happiness and gratitude or your surrounding,
Just like you did today And like you did today,
I would love to come with you another time,
Another day and again in a present moment So for now,
Wish yourself a beautiful rest of your walk and an amazing day Because I know what you did with your energy today and filled that energy with present and gratitude I know you will share this energy,
This kindness and abundance with the world today or tomorrow or maybe the rest of your week And you know what?
With that energy and sharing that,
You are making your world and the world of others a little bit better I know you will,

I enjoy my walks with Monica here in Central Florida. I play them mostly when walking the pup so I do have some interruptions in my mindfulness and being in the present but Monica makes it eat to pick right back up. I generally rotate between three of her walking meditations.

Thank you for the lovely walking meditation. This morning my dog and I walked in our neighborhood in Hawthorne, CA. I resonated with your suggestion to look at the world as though taking a picture. I’m a watercolor artist and as I go through the world, I see what I want to pain - or look at clouds and try to find the different colors. Thank you!

We were walking down a path near a river at Knight Ferry California. It’s sprinkling softly but the beauty is amazing. 3 deer crossed our path and stopped at the top of a hill to watch us walk. A french landed on our trail to gaze upon us. She followed us for 3 min. Thank you for your beautiful voice and joining me here today. ❤️
