So make any final adjustments that you need to now,

Either to your body or your nest and shall we begin by letting this body really feel the difference between tension and relaxation so let's start with the legs,

Just raising them slightly,

Squeezing the muscles and feeling that sensation and then let your legs settle back down and release the weight and then raising your hips,

Squeezing your bottom,

Holding,

Gripping and clenching and then allowing your hips to settle back down and release the weight good,

And then very gently press your lower back down into the bed or the floor,

Wherever you are,

And then release so just feeling how easy it is to let go and that's really all we're here to do so let's tense your abdomen and your chest,

All of the muscles of your back and then allow your whole upper body to settle back down and just abandon the weight and then let's raise the arms just slightly and really squeeze a tight fist press your fingers into your palms,

Feel how it feels to be contracted,

Tight,

Bracing this is how often unconsciously the body is against all that is going on spread your fingers out wide,

Feel that stretch and tense your upper arms and then let your arms settle back down and then raise your head just slightly,

Feel how heavy the head is and how it feels to hold the weight and then offer it back and completely release the weight of your head so that you're not holding that weight even slightly and let the weight of your whole body fall into the ground or the bed and let's take a lovely deep breath in together,

This is like sending a signal to your mind body system that this is a time of self care and gentleness,

So nice deep breath in,

Hunch your shoulders up and then let your body go and in your own time,

As we give this mind body system all the time and space that it needs to settle down naturally help that along with a few of these really slow,

Low,

Releasing breaths take your time,

This highly intelligent body knows how to breathe so you don't need to push and you don't need to grasp let's see if you can just let that breath flow,

Low,

Down into the lower half of your body and then just give the exhalation away as we start to release all the bracing,

Conscious or unconscious the bracing against whatever experiences we encounter there can be a bracing and that contraction in my experience it forms a network of contractions and holding within the body and in yoga nidra we're just holding a really welcoming space for all that bracing to unpack and I find that it unpacks easily when we come with no agenda,

No controlling or manipulating but just resting in that gentle space,

Keep taking a few of those slow and deep breaths so that your nervous system switches into rest and digest and then with every exhalation that lovely sense of dropping,

Of falling out of your mind and landing in the really gentle space of just being see if you can really be with and feel that movement of your breath just very gently returning if you leave to body breathing and what can unpack here is not just the physical bracing and layers of holding but the emotional body unpacking,

The cognitive body unpacking so we just remain wide open to whatever comes,

Giving it space and allowing it to go so let whatever comes,

Come and let whatever goes,

Go,

Nothing to hold,

Nothing to keep,

Nothing to remember but just for now can you feel the movement of your breath just let your breath be natural now,

Not controlling it,

Not changing it,

But just quietly noticing the feeling of your breath,

Not thinking about it but can you feel that very subtle sensation on the upper lip as the breath moves all by itself and noticing that momentary pause between each breath just before the inhalation becomes exhalation and just before exhalation becomes inhalation let yourself melt into that gap that gives rise to each new breath and expect your mind to wander because that's just the nature of the mind,

Just a habit training,

Training the mind to stay,

Can you stay right here,

Gently returning if you check out feel the relief as the body pours like liquid into the surface that it's resting on and beyond that energetically pouring into the earth,

Body and mind so grateful to be relieved of that personal me,

Body breathing,

Breath coming in and breath going out moment by moment by moment feel the inside of your mouth,

Roof of the mouth,

The inner walls of your mouth,

The gums softening,

A softening of any clenching that you find in the noticing tongue resting,

Root of the tongue releasing and letting go,

Hinges of your jaw loosening,

A surrendering of the lower jaw to gravity let this be a time of allowing,

It's not a doing,

An allowing that is already happening throat settling down and a softening of the face,

The skin,

The ears the eyes,

Resting back in the support of each socket nothing to defend,

Nothing to protect,

Safe to just let it all go,

But to remain present,

Aware,

Conscious even as body slips into the sweetest,

Most healing,

Restful space eyebrows softening,

Space between eyebrows,

Resting open temples,

Forehead smooth,

Welcoming the feeling behind eyes let that feeling come to you,

Let everything come to you no effort outwards,

Everything arising in you,

The feeling behind eyes expanding in all directions,

In the unlimited,

Unbound space of your own being and any sense of feeling located,

Just let that sensation soften as you rest as an undefended,

Unlocated presence brain releasing its weight,

No need to control thought let it come and let it go,

Like ripples on the surface of a vast ocean dropping beneath,

Before,

Between fully embodied,

Back of head,

Back of neck releasing and letting go welcome now the feeling right hand,

Just the immediate,

Raw sensation right hand not the memory,

Not the image,

But the current sensation we're not recreating a past experience,

But just being wide open to this one right now right hand,

Back of right hand,

Palm of the right hand give the sensation time and give it space,

Palm of the right hand thumb,

Second finger,

Third,

Fourth,

Little finger resting open,

Wrist,

Forearm,

Elbow,

Upper arm right shoulder blade,

Armpit,

Right side of chest the immediate sensation,

Right side of your back waist,

Hip,

Thigh,

Knee,

Shin,

Carl ankle,

Heel,

Arch of the right foot sole,

Big toe,

Second toe,

Third,

Fourth,

Little toe releasing and letting go the whole right side of body,

Softening open now welcoming the feeling left hand,

The direct sensation not looking for anything special,

Just the current feeling left hand back of left hand,

Palm of left hand the aliveness,

Thumb,

Second finger,

Third,

Fourth,

Little finger resting open,

Wrist,

Forearm,

Elbow,

Upper arm left shoulder blade,

Armpit,

Left side of chest left side of back,

Waist,

Hip,

Thigh,

Knee,

Shin calf,

Ankle,

Heel,

Arch of left foot sole,

Big toe,

Second toe,

Third,

Fourth,

Little toe releasing and letting go the whole left side of body,

Softening just a little more and this whole body,

Whole body invited to release all that's being held emptying out into the healing balm of your own being holding a wide open space,

Free of stories,

Free of any agenda as you give up that little bit of effort that it takes for attention to focus on something and you let that attention come home so that the focus softens and widens so that you just are,

Whilst everything just is just an intimate flow of life in you a wide open awareness and any time that that attention goes back out in that moment that you catch it,

Let it soften back again whether body is comfortable or uncomfortable whether mind is busy or calm let your attention rest right here right now just being just coming back any time that you check out re-relaxing here now so in the silent space that follows,

Nothing is being asked of you but to be here just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being just being like a nectar like a nectar for every cell of this body feel the aliveness feel the places where body feels the surface that it's resting on noticing that we find just one sensation whole spine releasing and letting go whole spine releasing and letting go all of your internal organs and glands resting in this healing balm your nervous system deeply at rest your immune system bathed in the peace of your deepest being digestive system at rest let your breath let your breath flow a little more deeply again the inhalation deepening and lengthening flowing with ease low into your belly let your body take over the words arising,

The body responding drinking in that long slow nourishing breath the air that we breathe loaded with life force energy nourishing every cell of your body and that lovely opportunity that every exhalation offers to release a deeper layer of bracing of holding of all that's not needed suspending just a few moments here wide open and receptive moment by moment by moment to all that is while you just enjoy the simple pleasure of a few really slow deep releasing breaths give the exhalation away and checking in with your heart for something that really matters to you something that your heart longs for let that be heard seen and felt a prayer for your life trusting that it has been heard feel that breath as it moves what if there were no need to get to the next moment to the next breath but just being fully here with this one with this breath with this moment fully embodied fully anchored here now just remaining open and available to your inherent knowing your innate truth clarity,

Insight and wisdom that has nothing to do with our minds we're just holding a space for whatever wants to be seen and heard in these remaining precious moments that we have together just being so you don't need to grasp whatever is arising when it comes from this deeper aspect of yourself it's just a knowing,

A deep felt sense it can't be lost trusting yourself,

Trusting your heart you can't trust thought but you can trust this deeper aspect of yourself feel the aliveness of your body the waves of vibration of a body unburdened just for this little bit of time of the small me such a relief I'm going to invite you now to either continue to rest consciously in being or to let your body move when it's ready letting that happen naturally not a reaction but a response to the innate intelligence of your body staying anchored in your ground of being as mind,

Body and world return to their wide awake state but nothing is lost this spaciousness remains may you be well may you be happy and may you be at peace thanks for being here thank you and when your body is ready to move meet your system with kindness with gentleness so friends until we meet again going to wish you a lovely afternoon and evening thank you
