Okay guys so make any final adjustments that you need to now so that together we can make a commitment to stillness,

To getting really quiet within,

To putting a pause in our day.

So make those final adjustments that you need to now and then let's take a really deep releasing breath together so that we're just dropping into simply being,

Get a nice deep breath in down into your belly,

Hunching and squeezing your shoulders up to your ears and then let your body go ah.

Breathing out with a lovely long and soft sigh and in your own time as the energies of your mind body system settle down naturally,

Let's take a few more of those really slow,

Low,

Releasing breaths and this is the part of your day where there is no need to get to the next moment or to the next breath but just really taking your time,

Slowing your breath right down and I'm inviting your body to soften so that your breath can flow with ease so that there's a softening deep down in the belly and so that as you inhale tummy is filling up like a balloon but without lots of effort and then breathing out with a lovely long and soft sigh.

Let the hinges of your jaw soften and let the weight of your whole body fall into the nest that you've created and then beyond that physical nest,

The invisible and yet very real nest of your own being that you don't need to find,

That you don't need to work for,

That you don't need to wait for,

That you don't need to imagine.

Feeling the relief of just letting it all go,

Unhooking from your personal story,

Just for now and coming to rest in the very simple,

Wide open and receptive space of simply being.

And let this highly intelligent body take as many of those deep releasing breaths as it needs to make the switch into rest and digest,

A calming and soothing of your nervous system as we trust that it's safe to rest as an undefended presence.

Wide open to this whole moment,

Just as it is,

And see if just for now you can really feel and be with the simple experience,

Body,

Breathing,

Just quietly noticing the movement of your breath as body breathes and expect your mind to wander and it's just habit and in this practice of yoga nidra we come back again and again,

Right here,

Right now,

Body,

Breathing,

Not thinking about it,

But can you feel that very subtle sensation as body breathes.

Wide open to every sound,

But without getting involved,

Nothing to name,

Nothing to label,

Just let everything come and let everything go within this wide open awareness that you just are.

And right now,

Just being with the feeling of your breath.

Taking a moment to check in and scanning body from head to toe and noticing any areas that are being held.

The noticing is the softening.

Body so grateful to be held.

Tongue resting in the mouth.

Lower jaw surrendering to that gravitational pull of just being.

Root of the tongue releasing and letting go.

Throat settling down.

All of this happening all by itself.

Words arising.

Body responding.

All by itself.

And you're just quietly noticing a softening of the whole face,

The skin,

Eyes resting back and the whole area around and behind eyes.

Softening.

Temples.

Eyebrows.

Space between eyebrows.

Softening open.

The sensation behind eyes.

Give that sensation time and give that sensation time to unfold naturally.

The sensation behind eyes expanding in all directions.

Brain releasing its weight.

Feeling as a wide open awareness.

Even as body rests so very deeply.

You remain.

You just are.

Even as body sleeps.

Just being here is enough.

Back of the head.

Base of the skull.

Back of the neck.

Pure sensation.

Just being.

Allowing everything to be.

Just like this.

Welcome the feeling right hand.

Wrapping the image.

The memory.

Meeting that experience directly.

Right hand.

Back of right hand.

Let everything come to you in its own time.

Not looking for anything in particular.

Not recreating a past experience.

But the current sensation.

Right palm.

Thumb.

Third.

Fourth.

Little finger.

Resting open.

Fourth.

Forearm.

Elbow.

Upper arm.

Shoulder.

Right side of your back.

Right side of your chest.

Waist.

Hip.

Thigh.

Back of knee.

Shin.

Calf.

Ankle.

Heel.

Soul of right foot.

The whole right side of body.

Softening.

Just being.

Just taking a moment now to acknowledge the presence of awareness.

Awareness and aware.

Without even trying.

And even if you fuse with mind and body into unconscious sleep,

That awareness remains just habit.

So we honour the commitment we've made to remembering over and over again that deeper aspect of ourselves that can never be lost.

That is eternally aware.

Timeless.

Spaceless presence.

Right here,

Right now.

Now welcoming the direct experience left hand.

Not the image,

Not the idea,

But the current sensation.

Left hand.

Back of left hand.

Palm of left hand.

Having that sensation time.

No judgement.

Thumb.

Second finger.

Third.

Little finger.

Resting open.

Forearm.

Elbow.

Shoulder.

Left side of your back.

Left side of your chest.

Waist.

Hip.

Thigh.

Knee.

Back of knee.

Chin.

Carve.

Ankle.

Heel.

Soul of left foot.

The whole left side of body.

Softening just a little more.

Let this body empty out of all that's being held.

Which requires a willingness to really be here.

To meet all that wants to be felt.

Seen and heard.

A willingness to meet all our humanness.

Directly.

Without trying to fix.

Without trying to manage.

And falling out of your mind over and over again.

Anytime that it wanders.

Without any judgement.

Let's not judge.

The judge.

That's just the mind's job.

And let yourself drop perhaps just a little deeper into a space where there is no judgement.

There is no story.

There is no before.

There is no after.

There is just this.

Now.

And now.

And now.

A space of love that can hold and receive everything within itself.

Unconditional love.

The essence of yourself.

That you don't need to manufacture.

That you don't need to work for.

Wide open.

Wide awake.

Present.

Conscious.

Even as mind and body sleep.

And even if mind and body are restless.

Space remains.

Undisturbed.

Untouched.

Untouchable.

No effort is required to be what you already and always effortlessly are.

No effort required.

It is even more simple than you think.

Not one thought is needed.

So let's rest here now.

Together.

In the sweetness of your own being.

Bathing in that healing balm.

And any time that you check out.

Just checking back in.

Re-relaxing right here.

And I'll be right here with you.

Resting as that very same presence.

Moment by moment by moment.

And I'll be right here with you.

You are awareness itself.

Wide open to all that is with no agenda.

And it's here that we find an acceptance that you don't have to do or try for.

True acceptance lies here in your ground of being.

An acceptance that the mind and the mind made me can never understand.

And let your body bathe in that warm bath of acceptance where all is welcome.

Where every aspect of yourself,

Of your humanness is completely welcomed.

Where there is a forgiveness.

A natural forgiveness that arises.

Feel the weight of your body and feel where your body meets the surface that it's resting on.

That's that plane of contact,

Just the immediate sensation and feel the aliveness of this body functioning all by itself.

Humanness,

Intelligence before mind.

Heart beating.

Blood circulating.

Breath moving.

And nobody making it happen.

Sounds coming and going.

Sensations arising and dissolving.

It will all pass.

This too will pass.

But there is something that will never pass.

That can never leave you.

The knowing of your own being.

So spending these remaining moments knowing ourselves as that.

Not just a nice idea.

Not just a concept.

Not just words.

But right now,

Knowing yourself as this wide open presence,

Intimately and utterly at one with every movement within itself,

Undivided.

And let's breathe guys.

Let's take a few really nourishing,

Really deep,

Releasing breaths.

And let that breath flow with ease.

Really low into your belly and wide into your chest.

Give the exhalation away.

Sending over all that gets in the way of knowing yourself as this peaceful presence right at the heart of each moment.

Slowing your breath right down,

Feeling every drop,

Drinking it in.

Welcoming in a prayer for your life as you inhale.

Something that you really,

Really want.

And then a softening,

Perhaps a little more as you exhale into that ground of being that remains unchanged,

Untouchable.

Receiving that breath generously with a willingness to just let it all go on the exhalation.

All that's false and all that's untrue.

A willingness to let that be seen and to let it go.

And to spend these remaining moments in the tenderness of just being.

That meets everything with a tender touch because it doesn't ask anything to be different or to go away.

So I'm going to invite you now either to continue to rest in that tender space or to let your body move and stretch when it's ready.

To listen to what's needed moment by moment and to trust.

To trust that inner guidance.

May you be well.

May you be happy.

And may you be at peace.

And I am very grateful that this time spent with you dropping out of our minds and remembering who and what we truly are.
