A short breath practice to help you relax.
Find yourself in a comfortable resting position.
Draw the next breath of air in through your nose.
Exhale with sound through your mouth.
Inhale.
Exhale.
One more like that.
Inhale through your nose,
Pause at the top.
First that bubble,
Sigh it out.
Pause at the bottom.
Inhale.
Pause.
Exhale,
Sigh it out,
Settle at the bottom.
Breathe in.
Hold at the top for just a moment.
Exhale,
Sigh it out.
Settle.
One more like that.
Fresh breath in.
Hold,
Feel the fullness.
Exhale,
Sigh it out.
Shift to breathing in and out through your nose if you can.
Start to slow it down.
Breathe in for the count of five.
And out for the count of seven.
In for five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Out for seven,
Six,
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
In for five,
Two,
One.
Out for seven,
Five,
Three,
One.
And back up,
Three,
Two,
One.
Breathe out,
Seven,
Slow.
Last three.
One more like that.
In for five.
Out for seven.
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Keep your focus on your breath.
Let it return to its natural state.
On your next inhale,
Press and engage through your core.
Imagine your inhale traveling up to the crown of your head,
A little gentle squeeze all the way up through your core.
Hold.
And exhale to release your breath,
All of the muscles in your body.
Inhale this time engage through your toes,
Your legs,
All the way up through your hips and your core,
Your extremities curl up through your fingers,
Your nose,
Forehead.
Hold,
Hold,
Hold.
Inhale,
Let it go,
Release.
Our practice is complete.
Have a beautiful day.
