This is a short breath practice to help you create your own calm.

Find yourself in a comfortable seat.

Wrap your arms around your body in a gentle embrace.

Breathe in to your chest.

Breathe out with ease.

Breathe in to your back.

Exhale gently,

Softly.

Breathe in this temporary air.

Breathe out this temporary feeling of unease.

Loosen the grip of your hands,

Your arms.

Soften.

Breathe in.

Expand a little bit fuller into your ribs and your chest.

Breathe out.

Use your hands to gently massage the place where they meet your body.

Breathe in a little bit fuller still.

Expand into your lower quadrants.

Breathe out.

Give yourself a little squeeze.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Notice yourself as you breathe in.

Notice yourself as you breathe out.

Pause.

Hold at the top.

You can hold this space.

Breathe out slowly,

With ease.

Draw it out.

When you reach the bottom,

Pick it back up.

Fill up.

Belly,

Ribs,

Chest,

Top of your head.

Hold at the top.

Feel the crown of your head,

Lengthening up towards the sky.

Breathe out so slow.

Let any counting go.

Let your breath travel down,

Down,

Down.

Then pick up this next breath,

So fresh and new.

Feel the fullness at the top.

Breathe out so slow.

Take your time.

There is no rush.

One more like this together.

Breathe in with ease.

Pause and enjoy the fullness of this moment.

Exhale,

Soften and release.

This concludes our breath practice.

I hope you're feeling a bit more calm.

I hope you have a beautiful day.
