Taking a deep breath in and a long breath out,
Let's fall into a natural rhythm.
Expanding with each inhale and releasing or dissolving deeper on each exhale.
Focus on expanding a bit more with each breath,
Creating a space in your body and inviting a deeper connection with this vast universal space we exist in.
Let's scan our bodies with our breath to see if there's anything else that wants to relax a little further.
Breathe in,
Expanding,
Breathe out,
Dissolving and relaxing.
Relax your eyes,
Relax your brow,
Your tongue and your palate of your mouth.
Breathing softly from your stomach,
Relax with each inhale and exhale,
Adding expansion outwards into the space.
Relax your hips and your legs,
Your feet and your toes.
Inhaling in,
Expand a little deeper,
Exhaling out,
Dissolving a little further.
Following the sound and its flow as if it was breathing through you,
Relax control of your breath,
Relaxing into your own rhythm.
If you notice any thoughts arising,
Just allow them to pass by without judgment,
Without reacting,
Just observe and reset yourself by focusing on the immersion of this long breath in,
Expanding and long breath out.
If you notice any sensations in your body,
Just allow it to be there as if it was weather passing by.
Just like our emotions of joy to suffering or thoughts,
They all arise and flow back into this great space.
We are all this space,
A vast emptiness where everything exists and everything is interconnected.
So from here,
In our meditations and in our breathing,
We can really practice our sense of being in this space,
Of allowing,
Accepting without judgment,
Without attachment,
Without reaction to anything,
It can all just be.
Really sense this infinite fabric of space.
This space is where we create ourselves.
You are a great symphony,
We all are.
As players in this great space and sound,
We are creating something of immense beauty together.
This connection,
In a way,
With space is just listening.
If we really choose to listen,
Listening to our body,
Observing our breath,
Watching our thoughts,
Choosing how we speak,
Act or love,
We can bring a better presence to our awareness and live and create fluidly from this pure space.
Now really entrusting yourself to this space and this life that you feel flowing through you,
Take this next breath and really focus on surrendering,
Surrendering into this space,
Allowing,
Accepting,
Connecting and embracing this fabric.
Let's end this meditation on space with a quote by Mark Knepper.
My soul tells me we were all broken from the same nameless heart and every living thing wakes with a piece of that original heart aching its way back into blossom.
This is why we know each other below our strangeness,
Why when we fall we lift each other or when in pain we hold each other,
Why when sudden with joy we dance together.
Life is the many pieces of that great heart loving itself back together.
