This meditation on the element Fire uses Tibetan singing bowls for the sacral and root chakras. These low-sounding bowls are a soothing ambient background sound for a listener to enter a deep state of pure relaxation, with the immersion of nature sounds of birds or bamboo. While focusing on the element of Fire; the guided meditation is a reminder of the fire within as warmth through the body and love between all beings.

Head project IS SPuptberhhhh down 20 2 1 AB 1 Sitting or lying comfortably,

Let's begin our meditation practice by focusing on the element of fire.

We are focusing today on our solar plexus.

This is an area slightly located above your navel and is connected to the third chakra.

This also symbolises light and fire and power,

Our inner power,

Our inner flame that drives us and keeps us warm and centred in a loving energy.

We'll bring a gentle focus with each breath to this area in,

Allowing the breath in to bring air to ignite this flame and area,

Generating warmth.

And with each exhale,

We will relax our body.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Allowing the sounds to be your guide,

As if warmth was sweeping through your body.

Allow the sound to breathe into you and out.

Breathe in.

Allowing your body to breathe in and warm,

And on the exhale,

Breathe out and radiate light.

Relax your shoulders,

Back and down.

Open your chest.

Softening your heart.

On this next inhale,

Let's inhale light into this area and radiate it outwards.

Now,

Focusing on your stomach and your lower body,

Let's bring an attention to warmth in our pelvic area and our stomachs.

Allow for a full inhale in,

Building your warmth and your flame,

And a long exhale out.

If your thoughts arise,

Taking you out of your flow of the in and out breath,

You can easily begin again just by noticing the moment when thoughts arise and reset by breathing in and focusing on the breath out.

Notice any sensations and tingling and warmth in your body.

Allow them to arise and flow with ease,

Relaxing into a deeper sense of warmth and stillness.

Let's inhale.

Like the sun,

We have this pure radiance.

It's a source of warmth and light.

We are constantly radiating this warmth and light of the universe.

From this place,

You can repeat a mantra forming a deeper connection with this sensation of fire within your body and that you share with the universe.

The mantra is this.

I am,

I am the light that shines through all.

I am love.

I am one.

Ending this meditation with a short vow from a Buddhist text from Sounds of the Human World.

I vow to be a candle burning up myself to shine upon others.

I vow to be a paintbrush painting humanity with color,

Bringing forth beauty.

I vow to be a street lamp breaking through the darkness,

Lighting the way.

I vow to be a great tree flourishing with leaves shading passers by.

I vow to be a book manifesting the truth,

Giving others wisdom.

I vow to be the great earth supporting living beings,

Giving life to all things.

I vow to be the light that shines through all.
